Did I do this the right way? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T1LIrzsgqA&mode=related&search= This says it all, I think! I always remember this clip when I spot a double three wheeled buggy (Phil & Teds), or a pair of Crocs, or a child wearing Boden in Dulwich Park, or a que outside William Rose, or etc, etc, etc... DM
  3. Dear AnotherPaul, My spelling was the pits last night (what's new?) it had been a long day... I needed a coffee! DM
  4. Stands eagerly by twister game, wonders where everybody is hiding?...
  5. and followed up by a few cat treats? :) Hurrah!
  6. It is dreadful news, but would somebody please open a Starbucks? DM
  7. Mr Banfield, from Banfield fencing on Barry Road. Nothing is ever too much trouble. He is the kindest and sweetest of men - and gives discounts too. I also love the girls in Stella B on Northcross Road. They are ladies - evey one. DM
  8. Smiles sympathetically at Mr Mikewbate. Notices his proboscis looks particularly painful today, thinks perhaps he should have it lanced? DM

Of course dear Ms Marigold, What a super name! Three little girls in my daughters class are called Marigold - how individual... See you in the queue outside William Rose;-) DM
  10. Wakes up with a start. Realises has been snoozing on armchair all night, notices enormous blue plastic shoes on feets and lets out small horrified exclamation type scream! Picks up enormous hand bag and runs from room as though trying to escape from own feet...
  11. Hic... excuse me please... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz DM
  12. Dear SimonM, No my braids don't get in the way, I tuck them into my hard hat! DM
  13. We looked into the whole Omlet thing, and even went as far as ordering an egglu, but you have to drive outside the M25 somewhere to collect and choose the birds - and I was not sure how I felt about having them in my car. Why can't they deliver them like Ocado? And then my father in law started to get very animated about how upset the children would be if the birds had to be put down if bird flu broke out, as they stopped eating lamb because they realised it is actually a lamb, and now they would realise that chicken is ...er chicken...and now, thank God it is all forgotten about. Apparently there is lots of smelly bird muck associated with keeping chucks, and the au pair refused to have anything to do with them - and with these nails... well I am just glad it is all forgotten about! I think I may be drunk... DM
  14. This is dreadful, thanks for that bawdy-nan. I wonder if I will ever find out why the police were out on Friday? I suppose not afterall. this is London I suppose...
  15. It wasn't me! I was drunk, but I arrived and left with my darling husband... DM

Darling Mr Mikewbate, God only knows how I was dressed when I left. I arrived wearing high heels (don't you remember?) and I left in a pair of Aqua plastic shoes - I thought that you gave them to me? I was sure you left in a pair of black Emma Hope high heels... Can I have them back? DM
  17. Smiles apologetically at Mr Mikewbate, looks at shoes, thinks to self "I'm not sure either". Wonders what is in a country casserole, free range lamb?
  18. The police were out in force on Friday evening on Croxted Road by the flats just before you get to Oakfield Prep, on the same side as Tesco's. There was tape everywhere. It is really odd, because where James comes from in Wales, if you get a speeding fine, they name and shame you in the local paper. I never expected to actually find out what went on. It really is tragic that some poor girl was killed. DM
  19. Dear Jennyh, You have me hooked already! DM
  20. Dear Jennyh, Oh look, you have just got the material there for the first post! Come on sweetie, what are you going to call it? I have made dozens of chums since blogging, it is not solitary or sad... Well, I don't think so. DM
  21. This is all very odd. I love cats, and this is very odd indeed. DM
  22. That is not fair! I could have watched that for the evening. Perhaps we could make a play? DM
  23. Dear Jennyh, Start a blog! I can thoroughly recommend it. I was watching The Bill, Eastenders, Coronation Street, Holby City and Bad Girls, and now I have a hobby! Start a blog and I will give you a link. It is the best fun. You have a computer, you don't need to buy any special boots, sticky back plastic or even leave your house... DM

  25. Jumps up and kisses Mr Keef on the nose. Looks down in disgust at feet - decides am a slave to fashion, and not a trend setter afterall...
