Seems like a big fat waste of time to me.

I like it. And at around ?2 for a delicious bacon sarnie (crusty bread) and a mug of tea one can't go far wrong.

I think some of the more "gourmet" sausage rolls have too much sausage and not enough roll (I think the EDD ones might fall into this category). Nice light buttery pastry essential.

Pie van on Northcross Rd at the weekend do tasty ones.

Our house is quite wonky. It hasn't moved in the 15 months we've been in it.

I think I heard him going up and down Underhill last night.. I hate those things. Not sure what the law is on noisy scooters.

Is the Barry Road area really all that bad at night? I quite offen go to the Barry Off Licence and never see any 'gangs' hanging around (that's not to say they don't). It's all very grim and unsettling.

I went to St John's and St Clement's between 1969 and 1975. It was a lovely school.

I went last week to get my broken hand fixed and everyone was fantastic. I was seen x-rayed and patched up in no time.

I used to use the Woodhouse in the late eighties when it was quite a nice boozer (packed out most nights). I might go for a look but I imagine it's another ruined pub chasing what trade there is (like the Grove in Camberwell God bless it's soul).

About half an hour to Victoria.

I usually head to the Dog for a festive pint.

Got home last night after a weekend away to find a big pile of dog crap right outside my front gate. It makes me so angry. Goodrich road seems particularly bad.

ED: It's like a jungle sometimes, makes me wonder how I keep from going under. I wouldn't rush to buy anywhere at the moment.

It's hardly a trek from Brockley. You can't buy anything useful in Brockley (apart from get your car serviced at Brockley Pk Cars who are great) so you have to go somewhere. If you want a reasonably nice shopping experience that somewhere is likely to be Blackheath where it's about the same as here. If you're not going to spend your huge wedge what's the point in earning it? Also I don't buy that all the people that sell organic products are these Roald Dahlian ogres. Usually I just say something like "Can I buy some of those tasty sausages?" and they say "Yes, here you go" and that's about it.

St John's is very nice. Horniman sounds fantastic fun too.

That's a horrible story. Two young thugs tried to push me off my bike just off the Walworth road (several months ago). I managed to avoid them but I was still quite shaken by it. I tend to stick to the main roads around there after dark.

I'm quite sick of fireworks now. They've been going on for weeks, I even heard a few go off at about 4am today.

Another vote for 2050. Mmmmmm Monmouth coffee.

In hindsight quite pleased everywhere was shut. Fire bomb sounds terrible.
