I guess for the match going fans it is a bit different, as they will look at this season as one with two or three trips to Wembley, and one or two cups won, which doesn't look bad at all. As one said to me, "no one remembers league position unless you finish 1st". That is a fair point, and they are the ones spending their hard earned money, and commuting a large part of their lives to supporting their team, whilst the likes of me just watch in the pub. I do think though that they'd find it hard to read that and see the truth in it. The cup runs are undoubtedly papering over the gaping cracks. And lets not forget that Cardiff easily could have won the league cup if luck had been on their side.

Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but "The Help" is a fantastic, if somewhat heartbreaking film. Only criticism is that the makers couldn't help themselves in giving it that slightly optimistic American gloss. Has some great humour to lighten up the story, without which it would probably make you slit your own wrists.
