  1. Or people who have, you know, jobs. Say you queue up at 8am and get given a 10:30 appointment (if you're lucky), that's half a day out of the office.
  2. This has been the norm there for quite some time now. There are other threads about it. Apparently... yes they can do it.
  3. josh, the main point is that they are v small (700 sq ft?) so prices for these houses are roughly in line with good 2 bed flats.
  4. Prices have gone up dramatically in the past year... that's basically 1 bed flat money these days. Would be very surprised indeed if one of those 2 bed houses wouldn't fetch over 450.

  7. Awesome. Always get good grub skiing in Austria.
  8. You're still not going to get the tasty charred bits!
  9. Of course you can make it at home. But it's gomna be completely different to the stuff you'd get from a BBQ restaurant.
  10. What planning permissions do you think should be required to start serving kebabs?

  12. Yep. Mumford and sons. Beards. Tweeting photos of my dinner. Queueing for a hour for the latest trendy burger. Skinny jeans. Things I like... pulled pork (if done properly), craft beer, good burgers (if you don't have to queue), check shirts
  13. I worked in Croydon for a bit... my route was Lordship Ln, Sydenham Hill, Crystal Palace Park Rd, Anerley Park, Anerley Rd, Auckland Rd, Whitehorse Lane, Whitehorse Rd. Could be in central Croydon in 20 mins. Maybe leave 30-35 mins on a Friday evening? Avoid the Crystal Palace triangle and the Sydenham roundabout.
  14. Reg, people are not talking about choosing all the films, just the FIRST screening there. Which of course is a toss-up between the aforementioned Police Academy 7 or Beethoven's 2nd.
  15. Don't worry. It's a compliment.
  16. Carrying one of those around in your pocket would require a whole new level of geekdom.
  17. Rest assured, if Jack Wills arrives on LL I will personally torch it.
  18. Now you're just making yourself look stupid.
  19. Well.. I wouldn't be surprised if all that "pop"/"rock"/"jazz" nonsense made more of a mess of some recordings than others. But yeah... ruled out. It's a strange one...
  20. Check that the EQ and Volume Limit features are both turned off.
  21. I think KK is saying it's a bit cowardly to let yourself be pushed around by Mums with prams and not say anything to their faces at the time.
  22. Won't be able to pop along to the event, but if someone can put in a shout for "Police Academy 7: Mission to Moscow", I'd be most grateful.
  23. spider69 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > 6.55 can understand that. next So basically there are kids playing in the afternoon after school, and they are home before tea time. Doesn't exactly seem like the end of the world. Saying that, treehugger's post doesn't ring true with me and actually comes across as a little smug (although I'm sure that wasn't the intention). You won't convince me that anybody HAS to eat fried chicken on the bus.
  24. Got off at PR at 6:55 tonight. Number of children in courtyard and alleys : 0. Number of hair balls spotted on the pavement : 0.
