  4. Yeah but at least they can click on 'UncleBen', see "User Deactivated", and realise that there is some sense in the world after all. Having been to my share of pop-ups, street-food markets, supper clubs, and various similar things, I've seen both sides of the coin. Delicious food at a great price in a fun and sociable environment. And five slices of rain soaked pizza for ?30 in the arse end of East London, followed by some bearded berk playing guitar in our faces while everyone smugly congratulates themselves.
  5. No to the Union Jack, unless you plan on having Oasis on constant rotation...
  6. Dead in the water apparently.
  7. My gran had one a lot like it, which she then gave to me when I was still very young. Don't remember what happened to it...
  8. Remember the alleged Steve Collins comeback vs Roy Jones Jr? Well... this would be like Steve Collins vs Andre Ward. Pointless! I think he knows it won't happen, he's just having a bit of fun. 9. I've always fancied getting something like this, and fitting it with modern components: http://www.computinghistory.org.uk/userdata/images/large/PRODPIC-14303.jpg But I think there's a strong chance that the whole thing would be glued together and almost impossible to reconfigure...
  10. But they're for DJing innit. Not really the best for just listening to music. And they're well expensive. And they don't make them any more. How about one of those project debut thingies? Unless you have a lot of 45s, in which case manual speed switching might become a pain...
  11. As it is, the store would still be a very good size for M&S Simply Food. I can think of several much smaller branches. Don't see why M&S wouldn't take it as it is.

  13. Just noticed a swear filter fail. When there's a rude word in the subject, you can see the original word in the reply box...

I HATED spam fritters at school. Still can't stand that horrid salty rubbery nastiness (I've not actually eaten spam in years, but that's how I remember it). What with the minging spam fritters followed by disgusting rice pudding, I'd often sit there all lunch time refusing to eat a bite. I begged my mum to give me sandwiches instead. I'm really not a picky eater, but there's a line I won't cross.

Also massively popular in Korea, HK... most of Eastern Asia as far as I can work out.
  16. They'll get a shopping mall incorporating a 2:1 scale PVC Crystal Palace replica.
  17. Clerkenwell certainly sounds like a dangerous plaice to be a pedestrain.
  18. Sounds like a red herring to me.
  19. Those photos look a bit fishy to me. I think it's time you stopped carping on this now.
  20. It's quite easy Monkey, you just move your... never mind
  21. Perhaps that's one of their tricks - using customers toilets to dispose of branches and.. er.. logs?
  22. Maybe an Iceland Local on the site of the old "Golden City" takeaway, after they get booted out of the LL site.
  23. Underground parking on the former cop shop site. To be shared between M&S/Waitrose/Picturehouse.
  24. Glad you enjoyed. DT is my fave these days.
