  1. The new one on East Dulwich Rd do good chips. Chips at The Sea Cow have never seemed quite right (although I love their fish).
  2. Jo'sEnglish Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There is also the new Dish and the Spoon > cafe on Cheltenham Road The Dish and Spoon is excellent!
  3. You'll struggle to find a decent pub near some of those stations!
  4. Things to do after moving to the countryside... maybe post under the identity of a made-up character on the EDF. (Well, plenty of other people seem to enjoy it)
  5. Why didn't you check out the area before moving here?

Interesting. I know someone who DJ'd in there a couple of times, and was asked not to play any hip-hop or r&b in case it attracted "the wrong type".
  8. I can't see that El Pibe has posted anything on here which amounts to anything more than a gentle ribbing.
  9. I really liked this one: "it's not the first MP have shown his inability to give an hollistic view or a detailed understanding of all the issues at stake. His fixation with M&S food skews his judgment."
  10. I am tempted to buy a sausage sandwich for breakfast, but have decided to get some fruit and a slice of toast instead.
  11. I don't really care what they look like, as long as they'll go to South London.
  12. James Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Peckham Rye and Dalston Junction you mean, Mr Ben. > Shoreditch High street is SO 90s The trendy areas are gradually getting further out and more scummy. Next thing you know, Waltham Cross and New Addington will be the new hipster epicentres.
  13. I think it's because of the medal table. If the table took silver and bronze into account (maybe 3 points for gold, 2 for silver, 1 for bronze) then maybe we'd celebrate those acheivements a bit more.
  14. Michael Palaeologus Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Those that wish to go east or west will be able to use > the ELLE to avoid the central London bottle necks. I think the solution is to increase capacity at the major london terminals, rather than force people to make a longer journey via an orbital route, with the added inconvenience of an extra change.
  15. I had an M&S ready meal last week. I was working late and didn't want to cook, so I just grabbed something quick from M&S at London Bridge.
  16. Thinking of getting some PVC sash windows.
  17. This is good news. Certainly better news than the Wetherspoons rumour which was going round a few months ago!
  18. No doubt about it, some agents are better at getting viewings than others. However, if your current agent is getting a decent amount of viewings in (a few a week?) then there's probably no point changing.
  19. Something to do with abnormally high testosterone levels, perhaps.
  20. Yeah, I saw an overground train at Queens Road station a couple of months ago, figured it was some sort of test run.
  21. The martial arts point isn't really relevant though, as AFAIK judo and taekwondo are purely amateur sports. Good job tennis is allowed though, innit?
