  1. Which track are you referring to? The new(ish) one in Bermondsey is awesome - probably the best track I've been to.

  3. Surely "me ears are alight" was based on Desmond Dekker's "Israelites"?
  4. Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > CPT are definitely showing the Haye fight. Good stuff. Hopefully see you there (and maybe some of the other boxing posters...)
  5. That is good news, Ladygooner. However, I did not benefit from them this morning, as a combination of cancellations/delays meant that I had to use the bus instead. Not exactly a great start to the week, after yet another weekend closure of the train line.
  6. I was slightly surprised to hear you say that too Brendan, because of your obvious disdain for property investors. But I agree with you, forcibly occupying a property is probably a step too far.
  7. Hello ladies... http://www.bbc.co.uk/apprentice/series7/_uploads/images/candidates/vincent1.jpg
  8. Dee, Tillie - I don't think I know anyone who has a partner who fits your description of a vacuous bit of fluff.
  9. Did they get in through the back door?

I may be showing my ignorance here... but where do those 14,000 people currently live?

Yes, I believe it will. And it applies to other types of energy too, not just heat...

  13. Or just pop down to Sainsbury's and get one there... take bus/car/taxi home.

I hear you loud and clear Lawrence, but some people like to challenge rules when they are not logical.
  15. I don't recall ever seeing an option for evening delivery with any company. Saturday delivery is common though - could you consider that instead?

Why is it a double yellow line?

If it's not causing an obstruction, why is it a double yellow line?
  18. Guys, what's the problem? They only want to help you increase your financial intelligence! Seems like a great idea to me. And the cashflow101 board game is not only fun - it could change your life! This seems like a unique opportunity to learn what has never been taught in schools & universities. This Steve chap is obviously highly qualified and knows his stuff - otherwise he wouldn't be teaching it!
  19. We met Tom Aikens briefly after eating at his restaurant. He's short, ginger, and grumpy. Is that really what women look for in a man?

Sovereign state - State - Social Sciences... it's all familiar territory from there.

Or... erm... actually lots of things. But I agree about the pineapple pizza. Anyway... Love = French food Hate = French cars

Lawrence. The difference is that you don't cause a dangerous obstruction by eating at your desk. This car was causing an obstruction. It must have been, otherwise the double-yellow lines would not be necessary.

reggie - a worthy post I'm sure, but to be blunt, nobody seems interested any more. The Wikipedia Philosophy thing is more fun.
