Took me 1hr 30 to walk to Moorgate. Buses were running along Walworth Rd, but only moving at walking pace anyway. Wouldn't say I found it pleasant personally, though.

I don't really understand the original post - people may sometimes go out to avoid cooking, but it's obviously not the main reason. People go to restaurants for a treat, or for social occasions.

Froch shows how to come back from a defeat! A cracking display (apparently). He should win a few fans from this. Apparently they have to fight again in the semis... Marquez also shows that he's still one of the best around.

Hmmm... don't think I would have been able to make it anyway, but it would have been good. I'm assuming that Ward/Bika and Marquez/Katsidis will be on too late for the CPT.

Yep, I used to live up near the plough, and would use my 1-2 travelcard on the bus most days. No problem.

Was it on your private front garden, or on the pavement? Vans drive round the local area all the time, looking for scrap metal and other valuable items. I always thought that if it's on the pavement, it's fair game. -
