  1. Personally I would not go to a 'family only' session. I go to see other forumites I know and meet others but by any means not only ones with children. It's nice to be able to bring my other half and the offspring, but basically, it's about meeting ones friends and making new ones.
  2. Me too - we were planning to go but it's only fun for small kids if the outside area is warm.

Ted, I like the way on the links page there's a link to.. tedmax.com. Very cool ironical self-referential stuff, like.
  4. Atila, quite apart from arguments of principle, capital punishment is neither quick nor cheap. People typically spend over a decade in prison after sentencing awaiting execution. Death Penalty Information
  5. *Bob* that was special treatment just for you, 'cos you taste so yummy. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
  6. Quids shhh, I'm being good cop, don't blow my cover. Here's the thread I was talking about. I think it's a nice place to live. But then I live in Peckham.
  7. 1) Not much, we've all gone to hell in a handcart 2) Don't be silly 3) Actually, the current hot trend is bashing the forum in general, not excluding but not specifically highlighting its gay members. See 1)
  8. Hello hanay008 As you may have gathered by now, this forum is a hotbed of wit and hilarity. Welcome to our little community, and take it all with a pinch of salt... Someone asked a very similar question recently and got lots of slightly more sensible answers than you seem to be getting today, I'm just digging around to see whether I can find it.
  9. It's good to have you back, badger. How did the friend auditions go? Did anyone make the grade? Or were they all too afraid of being pilloried by the press and ending up in the Priory?
  10. It was some old grandee's autobiography, Louisiana - something along the lines of 'people who have to buy their own silver'. Can't remember the name, but what a twonk. Tedling, the depths of fashion depravity in fading market towns of the south of England have yet to be plumbed - every time I revisit Fordingbridge I come over all townie and on more than one occasion have come close to having to clutch a passing donkey for support.
  11. One doesn't buy one's tweed and Hunter green wellies, Ted. One inherits them.
  12. How wonderful, my grandfather used to say By Jove. You've just brought back a flood of memories.

I'll give you Bancha, Buddy and Cairo. And maybe Aries. Cairo in particular looks not so much suicidal as homicidal. His expression is saying 'put that camera down, bitch, and let's take this one outside'. Barnaby, Spudderick and Tilly just look resigned, with some residual embarrassment. They have embraced kismet. But Bub's loving it, Harley's in 7th heaven, Max can't wait to go outside and show his girlfriend, and as for Camper he couldn't be any. Actually, I've just had another look at Tilly, and she reminds me of my grandfather dressing up to amuse the kids.

I wonder how I ever lived before I discovered Bee Dogs. In case you aren't already sold, beedogs.com is the premier online repository for pictures of dogs in bee costumes.
  18. A little cinema would be fun Although Peckham is just round the corner...

  20. Sorry, how did a vegetarian woman marry a man who eats meat and drinks beer? Are you for real? The world is full of couples like that. louisiana = WUM
  21. Happy Birthday to the very gorgeous Mockney Piers. May the sun shine on your every birthday as glowingly as it is today.

    peckham hi st

jctg, it may be. Please can everyone be careful what they say on the forum regarding this terrible accident. The victim's family will probably read the accounts here sooner or later. My sincere condolences to this poor lady's family and friends.
