    Is it Friday yet?

    You filthy swine, you.
  2. If not, why not.
  3. Apart from the Mothershop, surely? Ms B Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Shopping in the West End. 5. Mobile h, are you including an ED trading address?
  6. Here's a very guilty one. I have been known to enjoy accidentally standing on people's feet if they push in front of me while commuting. Completely wrong, no excuse for it. Really fun.
  7. I know, people are off. Baby elephants are cute, but if you said someone was as cute as a baby elephant, they'd be all offended.
  8. It's the damned forum moderators.
  9. Both ends of a cow, that's me. A cow elephant the, that is, due to my very long memory.
  10. I just want to confirm that I will not be competing with Nette for ED Panto Dame. Not least because I don't want her to beat me up.
  11. I think only people who don't live, work, shop, party or otherwise engage with East Dulwich ought to be allowed to post on the forum. Why let information get in the way of a good opinion?

Sorry 'bout that, Maximilian. I'm still me, and so are a few old timers. Themselves, I mean. They aren't me. As far as I know.

Is this where someone digs up the Quiet Room?
  16. Has anyone got suggestions for websites to buy smart summer kit? Have tried The White Company and even Boden, eek! But nothing... Looking for a nice linen shirt, trousers, smart belt, smart sandals for handsome (fond mother) 5 year old. Many thanks!
  17. It's worth a try. A whole room dedicated to crime makes it look as though ED is 1980's New York, and a stream of posts about smashed windows is s bit disjointed. How about we ask Admin to hide some of the jokey early posts- would the OP or any of the posters mind? Also, if anyone wants to start a new thread because they feel their situation is different or warrants a thread, then why not?
  18. Reasonably priced children's clothes for children over five. And a sunny beach.
  19. I usd natal hyp. CD's for no.2, VBAC. Calming and pleasant and absolutely helped in early stages of labour. Lost it a bit once we got to hospital and got stuck for ages in the triage room, but I think I had lost the mental focus feeling I was in the wrong place. It helps if your birth partner can listen with you and practise exercises together you can repeat during labour. I am not at all woo-inclined, but found the mental exercises really useful, still do. Didn't do classes, just a cd. Happy to meet for coffee and discuss if helpful. Sadly haven't got the cd's any more, they went off to brig another baby into the world!
  20. Brindisa. Best to book.
  21. I believe there's a famous writer who always refers to 'my current wife' to keep her on her toes.
  22. Gah. For London, read 'opinion'. Sorry.
  23. BB is right, this poster is a troll. His/her last thread on this topic was pulled, complete with detailed description of the offending nanny. Not an London piece so much as a witch hunt.

    B*stard pears

I so would. Cake or death.
  25. Didn't Food Stories make herself look like a chump on here a while ago and disappear in a puff of huff? Can't quite remember, but clearly she still does.
