  1. Ah, it's you again Matt. I am beginning to think you and the Gooner are the same person. :))

Eduardo diving. What a cheat, eh? Good job UEFA have finally called him out.
  3. *yawn* (btw it's emoticons)
  4. I should think it'll be more than one, if we weren't careful, that UEFA will try and get us on. There's that Pogba lad from Le Harve which the club got all arsey about for starters. I would think that a club of our size would be pretty stupid to do anything that wasn't by the book (these days anyway) but you never know.
  5. It's rumoured we are next for a ban. It's at times like this that Liverpool fans must appreciate Rafa's transfer policies! :))
  6. Keef, you speak sense. There's no place for that on here! ;-) I actually think that we've had our fair share of divers at United, the emphasis being on fair share, as in it happens at every club.
  7. Suprise. You two agree with each other. I think if you asked any football fan in this country which team they thought of when it came to diving the overwhelming answer would be Arsenal. There's a reason that most clubs favorite chant at the Library and the New Expensive Library is "Same old Arsenal, always cheating." :)) As you've brought the subject back up I'll give you another thought. When talking to other football fans after the Eduardo dive the overwhelming response was just how unnecessary it was. It wasn't the dive, players have been diving for decades (obvioulsy mostly United players :)-D), it was the fact that you had brought a two goal lead from the away leg and were the better team over the two legs and your player still felt the need to blatantly cheat to get you a win. That's what saddened me and others about the incident and I think that's why there's been so much fuss about it. Now it's your turn to talk about Ladyboys and Manure and emotions (?) without actually having a discussion, go on, let's have a tirade of abuse.
  8. Ah, but which one is which RD? (?)
  9. Oh, this is a suprise. I really thought I was going to get a well balanced opinion from you Matt.....not. What a shame you've stuck your blinkers on again so soon after the beginning of the season. I guess it's all downhill from here. :( Of course the only way we ever win games is by diving AND we send our scouts out looking for the best divers in the world. you two just crack me up.
  10. I see steam rising in South East London. I stand by my accusations Bergkamp, Van Persie, Overmars, Viera and the king of them all Pires liked to try and con the ref. Eduardo is just following in a long tradition.
  11. Charmed again AG. What about Andy Johnson? Bergkamp struggled to stay on his feet as did Overmars.
  12. What charming language Atila. Matt, that list is hilarious, no Torres or Van Persie? And surely Pires counts for two he was so bad. ::o
  13. Jeez, you are boring. For about two posts there I thought your login had been hijacked but it turns out you are back to your old self.
  14. Atila discovers emoticons! >:D
  15. Hey Fisk. I'd suggest having a play with Map my ride When are you doing your charity ride? If you want a ride partner and the dates work I'll do it with you!
  16. The Modric injury is truely a shame. He is great to watch at the moment, I hope he comes back as good as he has been recently.

Ha, ha. Very good.
  18. Ha, ha. I love that in Atlia world Arsenal players don't dive. I think he IS Arsene Wenger.
  19. Wenger is just being ridiculous. There was hardly a hard tackle in the game. for the first 20 mins it was end to end. How were we breaking play up in a negative fashion? I've just logged a film of the 1973 FA Cup quarter final replay between Arsenal and Chelsea. It shows an example of a blatantly diving Arsenal player winning a penalty.....nothing changes (and I don't mean it's just arsenal before a certain person comes on going on about ladyboys - a fixation he should really watch - and mugs :))). When the film is digitised on our website I'll post a link.
  20. I'm just trying to be fair RD. I was trying to show I was being even handed rather than too partisan but I agree with you, there is a difference between a swan dive and a hard tackle.
  21. Ok, so Fletcher got away with a dodgy tackle and if they review the evidence and he gets a ban then he should hold his hands up. Fletcher is a great international player and we miss him when he sn't playing, in my opinion. Why did saturdays performance not make us look good enough? It was pretty well balanced in terms of play for most of the game. We played openly and expansively and made several good chances and certainly looked better than we have for a couple of games. We obvioulsy had Arsenal on the back foot otherwise you wouldn't have had an own goal like that. It seems to me that we did what we needed to do and as far as Arsenal playing as well as Liverpool in the 1-4 Matt, you do your team down. Arsenal weren't that good.
  22. I'm pretty sure there was nothing wrong with the Rooney Pen. I wouldn't have been suprised to see Fletcher's takle being given as a pen either. No way there's was any need for all those yellow cards and the Wenger sending off was ridiculous. I thought, all in all it was a well balanced game and a draw would have been a fair result but you just can't legislate for an own goal like that.
  23. I hope you kept your money in your pocket. :))
  24. I didn't realise that UEFA had actually charged Eduardo. I know they've stuck their oar in like this before but aren't they opening a massive can of worms here?
