  1. He was one of our best players on weds (not saying much I know) but I'm still not sure I know what you are getting at Mike and Keef?

What do you mean Keef? I was a bit distracted with nerves to notice any shenanigans. Do you mean his usual posturing? I was suprised he let Giggsy take a free kick but that was the only unusual thing I noticed. :))

  5. Did someone say something? Quids, how did you let your nephew slip through the net? I'm having problems stopping my father-in-law turning my daughter Scouse. He keeps singing Kop songs to her.
  6. No, Atila he didn't, but people died so using it as a jibe against United fans is a bit low. I refuse to bite wit you now, it seems to me that you just come on here to spoil the thread and be abusive so why don't you keep your opinions to yourself or actually give us something to discuss?
  7. Very sad that. As was this: Arsenal story I see what you mean about Tevez not starting every game Anna and I see Torres has signed a new deal, I don't know if that makes any difference. I'd love to keep him and I think we could pay the money but there seems to be a real reluctance. Did I read somewhere that Rafa's budget was around ?15M this summer? Is that right and does that also depend on selling? As for taking you seriously, I do, you are an bloke as far as this thread goes!

I guess that they could all have been given a few days off and he's going for a break. I don't hold out much hope for signing him or holding on to Ronaldo. It'll be interesting to see who we bring in as replacements.

  10. I am quite happy to let it lie if people are prepared to have proper discussions. Matt makes some very eloquent and insightful points at times and I enjoy his take on the game but does every post have to contain a jibe about United? Anna, well after her additions to threads on sports bras and those high heeled shoes I can forgive her anything and I guess I just have to ignore AG as I am sure he won't be able to help himself. Right, where's Tevez going? Will Ronaldo stay? Who is going to be the next Chelsea manager? What does Rafa have to change to go that one last little extra step to win the league?

  12. Ha, ha....sorry. Still thinking about him tearing you lot apart in 1999. Priceless. Anyway, as Piers says, this is getting a bit old. Shall we just take it for granted that I'll laugh at Arsenal'd misfortunes and you'll laugh at Man Utd's?
  13. I hope you chased them down and asked them why they felt the need.
  14. Yup. Still thinking about nayim from the half way line and Giggs running through your defence after getting a handy pass from "Paddy" to help us win the treble and thumping you lot 6-1 a few seasons back and winning the league in our game against you this season. Oh, and there's the fact you haven't won a European Cup and that you haven't won a single trophy since 2005. I am chuckling, yes.
  15. It doesn't Atila. You are right. I laughed heartily when your lot got beat in the 2006 final and that Nayim goal in 1995 and when your lot didn't turn up in either leg of the semi final. Still chuckling now tbh.

  17. I was always a Wednesday fan. Their supporters always seemed so much more dignifed. When was the last time they sued someone because they weren't good enough to stay in the premiership? Anna, that perch s still looking a bit wobbly to me.
  18. See, obsessed with United. A win against Fulham a highlight of a season must have been a thriller. Mine was winning the league for the 18th time and United being in the European Cup final. Still...Fulham...blimey...:))
  19. Barca really weren't that good Mick...sorry you are wrong. We were poor and made them look good, but hardly a classic European night.
  20. Suprise, suprise, Anna's happy, She spends whole seasons travelling the country watching her team and the happiest she gets is when another team lose. Wasting your money again next season Anna? ;-)
  21. We were out played tonight. Not sure Barcelona were brilliant, but they were certainly better than us. We couldn't keep hold of the ball and I'm not sure Carrick was up to it tonight. But hey, you've got to be in it to win it and we were. Atila, you and you're Barca fetish? Tried supporting your own team in Europe? We turned you over and showed you up for the terrible side you've been this season. Did you manage fourth place and no trophies this season as well? I make that four years. Matt, you are hilarious as ever. Fergie back in his box? You mean because he's won the league, again. Reached the European Cup final, won the League Cup and the World Club Championship? There's only one trophy left and Liverpool can't even win that. I got a load of stick on here for enjoying winning the league over your rabble but apparently it's ok for you to enjoy us losing. Hmmm, double standards from the whinging Scousers? I don't believe it! As for the sound of our bus reversing...remember this? Beep, beep, beep... I make that nearly two decades since you won the league. :))
  22. The glee was at winning the league, i.e beating everyone, not only Liverpool (although that was sweet, of course, as I am sure that it would be the other way round) so stop being so self obsessed. Just thought I'd clear that up for you, now I'm back off to a thread about cats or something. Actually, before I go, I'm glad that Newcastle went down.
  23. Katherine Merry. Olympic bronze medallist.
  24. Ok, I know where I'm not wanted.
  25. To be fair I seem to remember similar reports before the Euro Cup Final in 2005 and aimed at warning Liverpool fans. As usual you use it as a chance to have a dig at United. I am starting to feel sorry for Quids, Sean, Jah, etc. Maybe we should have a separate thread called "Liverpool bash United and vice versa" as I am sure it's tedious for the others.
