I think I'll put some make-up in my bag to put some on just in case I see UncleBen, too. I'll make a right mess of it I expect.

I'd get that checked. Do you have the heating on all day every day on full ? I have double that many radiators and not half the bill. So at your rate pro rata I'd be paying ?2,084 whic sounds scary.

Good spot LondonMix. However - The thread WAS started on legacy for women, so maybe another thread's subject.

Yes I'd bet money against it too, but when he does turn it on you wish he could bottle the stuff and take a dram before every contest. I haven't checked Wilder on Boxrec yet, but from what I've read about him on the boxing sites the last year or two there's no point - I'd recognise virtually none of the names and the opponents are apparently unremarkable. Nonito Donaire is fighting on Saturady in USA, he's Filipino, amazing left hook - watch the way he switched-off (I think it was) Abner Mares a couple of months ago. He's fighting Rigondeux, one of the best ever Cuban (therefore world class) amateurs, Rig is in like only his 13th fight or something crazy like that and on paper should lose - but he's full of surprises..

Just seen the BBC website, Harrison said "Win and I'm in the top 10 for sure, eligible to challenge for the world title. Biggest risk, for the biggest reward - it can't get any better than that." Beating a guy who's never beaten anyone of note will not get you in the top 10 (unless the governing bodies are bent). To get in the top 10 (again, all belts have a different top 10) he'd need to beat Kubrat Pulev, Povetkin, Fury, Tomas Adamek, Jonathan Banks, Robert Helenius. Wilder is a bum, or a very talented boxer masquerading as a bum.
-
To be fair to Fraudley, he's beaten better opposition, even recently, than his opponent Deontey Wilder has ever faced. Deontay has not yet faced a top 90 opponent. Harrison has the skills to KO Wilder, no doubt about that. There's even stories that each has dropped the other during sparring (Wilder helped Harrison prepare for the David Price contest, he's 6'7"). What will let harrison down if anything will be the ring fear once he gets clipped. But if the Harrison that won the HW prizefighter tournament recently turns up (lightest weight ever and looking mean), then Wilder is gonna get KO'd. Wilder is 27-0 (27 KOs) but he's literally been fighting guys with full-time jobs. He talks about fighting the K brothers but has not even fought people with the caliber of Michael Sprott or Matt Skelton yet. If Wilder wins this bout he actually won't be much better-off than if he'd duffed-over his grandma, but he will have broken past the top 90 mark, something which harrison did years ago, well before his 28th fight. This does not detract at all though form the crap that Harrison spouts year after year about redemption, last chance saloon, got my mind right, in the zone, realise my mistakes, and all the other feeble dribble he comes out with !

ted - reading the OP, I'd venture it's a property that "needs floorboard insulation, double glazed windows, new rads, probably a new boiler at some stage"

On February 26, 09:43AM I said I'd share a channa recipe. It's 15 mins prep (you don't HAVE to have a blender). 20 mins cook. Get you rice on the go before you do this channa, so it's ready by time channa's ready. I got this off www a few years ago and trimmed-it for my taste. Ingredients: ? Can or two of chickpeas (you can use other beans like kidney) ? 3 tablespoons oil ? Pinch of asafetida (Hing) ? 1 teaspoon cumin seeds ? 1 tablespoon gram flour (Besan) ? 4-8 tomatoes (it's hard to get this recipe 'wrong' so you can tailor it to your prefs) ? 1 teaspoon ginger paste ? 1 teaspoon chopped green chilies ? 2 teaspoons coriander powder ? 1/2 teaspoon turmeric ? 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder ? 1 teaspoon salt ? 1/4 teaspoon garam masala ? 1 teaspoon chopped cilantro (Green coriander) ? I chop up some onions/tomatoes and mix with salt/little sugar/chopped coriander/lemon juice for a salad (a bit like what you get for poppadums at curry houses) Method: 1. Drain the water out of the can of chickpeas and wash the chickpeas well. i don't drain them actually 2. Blend the tomatoes, green chilies and ginger to make a puree. I actually make batches of this and freeze bags of it to make prep quicker when I need it. 3. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Test the heat by adding one cumin seed to the oilto see if it cracks. 4. Add the asafetida and cumin seeds. 5. After the cumin seeds crack, add the gram flour and stir-fry for a minute. 6. Add the tomato puree, coriander powder, turmeric, red chily powder and cook for about 4 minutes on medium heat. 7. The mixture will start leaving the oil and will reduce to about half in quantity. 8. Add the chickpeas and a half cup of water and let it cook for 7 to 8 minutes on medium heat, covered. 9. Press some of the chickpeas with a wooden spoon against side of pan so they soften. Note: add more water as needed to keep the gravy consistency to your liking, and let it cook for few more minutes on low heat. 10. Add the garam masala and cilantro. Let it cook for another minute. 11. Garnish with that salad i mentioned earlier.

When I was a kid like 8-9 yrs old I detested litter being dropped and used to pick it up constantly. I managed to control it to the point where it was only at school I did it, or on way to/from school. My friends would often just drop their sweet wrappers where they stood, where there was a circle of us stood there'd be loads of litter when we left. I'd stay behind for a moment to pick it up. One day my Dad, when emptying my pockets for laundering my trousers and coat, found acres of sweet wrappers and asked me where it'd come from. "where did you get the money for all these sweets ?" he asked. "Oh, they're not my wrappers Dad, they're my friends' sweet wrappers". "What - they gave you this many sweets ? Don't come the smart alec with me lad". "No Dad, they didn't give me the sweets - I just picked-up their litter". "Don't take me for a fool, son". "No, really, I pick-up my friends' litter all the time, I just forgot to empty my pockets in the school playground on the way home". Got a right good hiding for that 'lie'. So kids too, beware of picking-up someone else's litter.

Well.. there's also the islands on the other side of the gulf, accessible from coastal towns such as Traad (great night/food market), such as Ko Chang, if you want something a bit less developed. Won't improve snorkelling prospects though. You can get to Traad by bus from the Eastern bus station in Bangkok.

You're not wrong there Huguenot, a few years ago I went to Sri Lanka for a month intending to go snorkelling most of the time. It was monsoon season, I was inexperienced in snorkelling, the water from Columbo to Matara was murky with visibility of 6 inches !! Another activity not practice during monsoon.

I've been there for 3 or 4x rainy seasons - this is when traditionally the "3 month monks" do their Buddhist obligatory term in the temples, so there's plenty of festivities around that. The reason they traditionally enrol thn I believe is because the rice gas been planted and hardest work has been done in the fields. I generally found there were a couple of heavy showers a day and them it brightened up. Good thing about the rain was it took the edge of the heat and humidity. If you're after a beach hol rainy season may not be for you. Huguenot PM this forum lives out that way and my have more specific / accurate advice. I think Thailand is a fascinating country at any time of year but in rainy season hiking is tougher (slippy paths and mucho leeches) and trail biking is obviously tougher due to deep deep mud off-road). If you're mainly city based I don't see a material issue with rain.

3 G or WI FI tablet for use in hospital ,advice sought
KidKruger replied to intexasatthe moment's topic in The Lounge
I haven't got a tablet but do have a smart phone, which I have to pay for, for 3G access as well as the phone connection). So I think it's same for a tablet / any device you want to access internet outside of WiFi areas. 3G is not free. -
3 G or WI FI tablet for use in hospital ,advice sought
KidKruger replied to intexasatthe moment's topic in The Lounge
If you've guaranteed WiFi then you shouldn't need 3G in theory. If the WiFi fails/is not available and you still want www connectivity you may want to consider 3G as a back-up - but that's where costs can be incurred. -

"Let's take that offline" = I haven't the balls to cover that now with you in front of everyone cos it'll be obvious that I know SFA and I'm full of BS. -
Would use of said dildo on a bus or train be damaging to other passsengers' health ? I mean without lube of course (because that may contain harmful constituent ingredients).

Dave I take the route you mentioned regularly on my way to Wiltshire. It's the most consistently reliable in my experience. The only hassle may be the overpass closure which was due to structural worries, not sure if that's been resolved now.
