This follows on from another separate thread.. If we can get a handful of people it'd be fun to have a pool KO night locally. I'll look into where we could hold a table for the evening, meanwhile if you fancy a duel with a cue leave a note and perhaps we can line something up for 2-3 weeks time. Good call Mr. Ben, I'm after one of these this summer too. I have heard that some have 'cold spots' where the oven doesn't cook evenly (I think, even when the oven is fan assisted). Any comments on the eveness of heat within the oven wouldbe appreciated.

When Clev was still in Uni he took a lot of pride saying he's so proud that he's worked his way ip the proper old-school way by going up through the regional belts before attempting world honours. But now he's got world honours it's like he's being paid to spar. I watched Clev fight that nurse and I am worried for him that he could not dispatch a smaller man who doesn't try to hit him. I've said several times that Clev should fight Shumenov and see what he (and thd Khazak) are made of. After the last Clev show maybe that's not a good idea for how own safety. I think Dawson would nail him. At some point he's gotta face someone decent. Bellew put on a good show against Nathan too. Hatton got a hiding from Kell Brook last weekend but he's a tough old nut, not sure where he goes from here after also losing to Saul Alvarez. Check the hatton/brook contest on YouTube. Brook is called Special, he sure looks it. Also Macklin got a hiding from Martinez who is one of my fave boxers to watch, so quick and accurate.

I saw this huge tower on Saturday morning driving around after Billingsgate, I wondered what it was but figured when I saw the cables heading down to Excel that it must be a cable car or something. Timely that you post this. ?60m seems a lot of dough for a cable car. Imagine spending that on something useful for London !

I'd miss the proximity to Afro-carribean and Asian grocery stores on Rye Lane. No being able to pop out on bike and get immediate ingredients would be a real bind.

most people who're holding street parties are not thinking about their loyalty to the Queen et al. It's not often you can collectively close your street down and party. I'm considering it myself and am indifferent to those over-privileged bastards.
