  1. I don't know, I'd suggest that if one fears a specific man is a child abuser then confront them or call 999 before considering warning people on the internet. One is taking action, the other is starting rumours. It's worst level curtain-twitching. 2. fair points I guess, just a shame that people don't recognise and act according to fact that the majority of what is being feared above happens within the extended family and it's social circle, not strangers in parks in front of parents. In which case why should innocent males have to 'watch their behaviour' when they are out minding their own business ?!
  3. What?s the point here UG ? Not clear what specifically you are complaining about ? You mean wealthy people shouldn?t be allowed to take out Buy To Let mortgages ? Or families should be means-tested before getting permission to have children ?
  4. So, signs that are difficult to interpret. What are signs for....?!
  5. Fecking weird. To weird for now or ever.
  6. This guy is a belting legend, he played weekly at Skehans until lockdown in the Spring. Guaranteed to raise a smile. Well done Aaron !
  7. John L Then there is an email address which service providers have specifically for you to forward scam to.
  8. Did anyone watch the White House press conference last night (around 9.15pm) ? Trump is acting completely as if it is BAU, he focused entirely on fighting Covid and all of his advisors who spoke were grossly over complementing Trump on his amazing leadership over the last four years and for saving the American people from Covid. Whole thing was fantasy. He also took credit for the vaccine which Pfizer have repeatedly stated the US government had nothing to do with. So Trump emphasised the US government had paid $1.95 billion to Pfizer (even though that money was just usual ongoing partnership for non-covid related work). But I?m sure the Republican lapped it up.
  9. Nope. He's a bellend. Like Cummings.
  10. yeah I got caught in that, took 20mins to turn out of Melford on to LL !
  11. there's a lot of space available, probably several acres, on Melbourne, Elsie, Derwent, Tintagel, Carlton, Court Lane !
  12. Yes I think they have, also veiled accusations of racism. But call people out for it and they scatter like scared pigeons, demanding you spell out your accusation while hiding behind the fact they didn?t have the spine to fully spell out theirs. But that?s another thread subject I guess.. !
  13. Bloke I knew years ago his wife left him and took their young kids (she went to the man she?d been having an affair with), he had to go through the courts to see his kids again, against lies about him being dangerous etc. His time with kids was reduced from 24/7 to zero overnight, then months later he only could see them through a contact centre (until social services realised that, guess what, he was safe to be near his own children). He used to spend hours near school playgrounds (at lunchtime when at work) and parks / playgrounds, just to hear children sounds. Poor poor bastard. Instantly assuming a man near children is a kiddie-fiddler is shameful, not that the OP has done this.
  14. Where is Lee Harvey-Oswald when we need him.
  15. I ask them to hold on a mo, then go get my huge bronze Buddha, set it down on the step and talk them through the eightfold path, wheel of fortune and general Mahayana story - not allowing interruptions. Does the trick !
  16. Except Cummings, et al, they may need to test their eyesight (or something)..!
  17. That?s obvious. Which is why the OP has been careful with their words. So...? anonymous_third_part Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Not all older men on their own in parks are > peados.
  18. What is it that makes facts like these get interpreted by some people as positive discrimination ? Special kind of mind made up. 19. What behaviours exhibited by the gentleman, specifically, made you uncomfortable ?
  20. ...Even FOX NEWS gets nervous around the 1minute mark, saying these allegations seem dubious and some evidence would be required.
  21. They held a press conference last night (not sure where, a tiny room somewhere..) with Kayleigh McEnany spearheading the session with her summary of outright fraud, then backed-up by a couple of other sycophants. Most commentators and outlets were aghast at what was being alleged by that team. The people nailing themselves to Trump's mast (ooh-err), probably have no other options and are aware their careers are effectively over if the ship actually sinks. Which it already is, BTW. Trump has said for weeks this is what he'll do, now he's doing it. Scary side to this is Trump's cult followers will believe this is a just cause and we get more showing-of-arms, protests, clashes, then inevitably, harm and deaths. Shameful behaviour from a desperate, psychopathic, paranoid, traitor.
  22. if you know the ID no. and have online access, might be worth cancelling it until you get a replacement ?
  23. Good for them, let?s hope conditions will allow them to ?spring? back.
  24. perhaps I'm missing something here... road tax goes into a 'general taxation' fund for use by Govt as it wishes. there is no compartmentalisation of road tax against other tax income streams, not since 1937 at least. people do still think road tax goes to a fund for road maintenance. wrong, this income just gets lumped-in with other tax.
  25. Yeah I?d be interested to see what food they are offering - it would help establish interest obviously.
