  1. Delia?s leek & potato soup is quick and cheap (freezable), you don?t need the cream if trying to save money / chase health
  2. ...and meanwhile ?act like you?ve got Coronavirus? (while recommending schools open)..
  3. I think there has been consideration and it is that the traffic must not be stopped. You have right of way when crossing EDG (against cars turning into EDG) I believe, but it takes some bottle to apply that against aggressive/entitled drivers !
  4. Fair point, people have been taking the piss in the woods - there are fairly regular get-together in them woods.
  5. HVe a look on some of the history threads on this forum, I think I?ve seen an old photo in B&W of the building.
  6. Consistent in it?s in consistency, adept at confusion, consummate in failing to deliver. Yep, UK Govt is very well placed.
  7. If possible, yes. Born there. ianr Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > KidKruger wrote: > ----------------- > > Alan Medic wrote: > > ------------------ > >> DF may not want to go anywhere, but I > >> see Johnson's father is taking up > >> French citizenship. > > > Me too !! > > You are taking up French citizenship?
  8. Yup. It?s gonna get messy here for some time.
  9. Me too !! Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > DF may not want to go anywhere, but I see > Johnson's father is taking up French citizenship.
  10. Absolutely. To treat this as some binary decision where only yes/no will suffice is missing the point of an MP (to represent one?s constituents). HH has it seems indicated her priority is her constituents and their concerns.
  11. ...more like, we?re lucky to get the kids up before 1000 during school holidays !!
  12. Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho, and Ho !!
  13. Good post by OP, dogs should always be under control and owners have responsibility to ensure same. Mishaps can happen though, quite innocently. My pup knocked over a 2yr old yesterday, the lead had slipped out of my hand and she?d run over to a couple of children and just as I grabbed her lead after following her she ran behind the little one and as a result the lead tightened and toppled him/her - fairly gently, but still a child went down. Complete accident which can happen.
  14. I usually go to bed around 2-3am, so BAU for me as far as staying-up goes. Bed by 12 would feel like I?ve been naughty. Since having kids, going out for a big one on NYE is a bit of an ex-pastime anyway !
  15. Novel idea. Maybe going forward we could get flu jabs and do urine samples in pubs. ?A pint with your transfusion today sir ??
  16. Come on, they?re just calling a spade a spade ! You reckon people shouldn?t call out BS for what it is ?! No nasty words were used. 17. Natty is wondering whether he can still export his faulty moped over to the EU now....🤣🤣 🏍
  18. It?s all going to be great now we?ve ?got control of our own country back? (except for Parliamentary control, with the House only given a few hours to look discuss before the vote today).
  19. I thought there was a minimum age (like, above 9) for joining this forum ?
  20. Seabag Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Logistics, delivery, action. None of the strong > points for this lot. Yep. gain power, get yer mates in (inexperienced and wrong priorities), then represent the entire country in facing a deadly pandemic. Perfect storm.

  22. Add to that, that a significant proportion of the population may resist having a vaccine, in what universe does that help rid a country of the virus? KidKruger Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Nothing I?ve seen so far says anything to do with > vaccines will be well organised or even adequately > organised. > But yeah, we can hope based on ministerial > promises. > After all, it?s the only thing we?ve got.
  23. Nothing I?ve seen so far says anything to do with vaccines will be well organised or even adequately organised. But yeah, we can hope based on ministerial promises. After all, it?s the only thing we?ve got.
  24. No matter what positions BoJo has held, he hasn?t achieved much - it?s all about himself and his seduction by power. That he has been elected as Mayor, PM, whatever, says more about the people who voted for him than it does about his skill as a politician in delivering. And no, Quids that doesn?t mean I think those people are plebs, it means they were hoodwinked ! He hoodwinked people with his quaint bafoony persona (it certainly wasn?t his track record of achievements).
