  1. Moos if only one income would allow us that he he he.. *Strawbs daydreams off to what that might be like* Unfortunatley no rest for the wicked and whilst I would ADORE a couple of weeks off being housewife any longer than that I think I will be popping around to yours for dinner every other night ha ha ha.. I must say though if I do get this job I may well just come in and congratulate myself on this thread! ha ha woop woop
  2. what as housewife?? ha ha ha. Well Ive got about 4 weeks to go until I have to take up that title but I have a very promising final interview in a couple of weeks so hopefully I will get that it will just be a smooth transition from one place in canary wharf to another.. Otherwise yes I will be home cleaning, baking and watching trashy tv..
  3. I know and quite frankly the housework could be a problem too as she is so fantastic at that so now I fear that means I will actually have to participate in that task.. *groan*
  4. Congrats to Jaws for getting a brand new job in compliance yesterday and starting today!! You have worked so hard at getting a job for the past 4 months and its been tough for you so I just wanted to say A BIG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woohoooooooooooooooooooooooooo................................. :)-D
  5. SM - ha ha no thank goodness.. You know me I just say it how it is warts and all..
  6. Sparts - well done you I say and ignore anyone who has claimed your description is offensive.. If it had of been 4 white girls that did it and you described them as 'four white girls' I would not be offended in the slightest AS FACT IS THEY ARE WHITE!!!! Northlondoner - are you sure your name is not honk?
  7. Seems pretty pathetic to me really.. If they dont have anything better to do than to log on to their forum and slag off other people who they dont know then I think that says enough about them.. I thik we should all just abandon this thread and go back to talking about stuff that is relevant to us and we enjoy and leave them to continue to be losers...
  8. bl**dy hell H that is awful.. Hope you and said flatmate are not too shook up over it.. xx
  9. or pop down to the rail station and pick up a timetable from there.. I just went and did a journey planner and got all the trains between 6.30AM - 9.30AM, its not hard, so you could do that too and just write them down on a post it and stick it somewhere... 6.12 6.39 7.03 7.14 7.19 7.29 7.51 8.05 8.14 8.35 8.41 8.56 9.16 9.20 9.27
  10. skip I dont have an official timetable but these are the ones I know in the AM.. As for the PM I go to Peck Rye so just turn up at LB and there is generally a train.. 7.14 7.19 7.29 7.51 8.05 8.15 If you go on to the tfl website you should be able to print out all the trains..
  11. mmmmmm yum... this is my favourite thread.. I cant wait for curry club!! x
  12. I have to agree generally on time and if late by only a few minutes.. The 8.05 if you can stretch it out a little further time wise is great as there is far more room and generally you will get a seat whereas the 7.51 can get a little crowded but everyone always gets on..

  21. I went to a friend's house to watch this last night as I thought it was Rugby (Im sure they told me it was) only to be so disappointed when I saw it was SOCCER!! I necked a bottle of wine and legged it at half time..
  22. I was quite excited when I saw this on bbc yest but of course then came crashing down with a thud knowing we are so skintos we cant buy the tickets this week! doh! All the best gigs come about when the world of my personal finance is up the spout... Anyhoo swiftly moving along...............
  23. I totally agree an utter rip off! In Australia you dont get charged any of those bullsh*t charges.. Reference checking people and processing a contract is their job so why on earth would we pay them more to bl00dy well do it! And I have to say over here my experience has been with them that they are lazy and slow so its not even like most of the time you get a good service!! I have rented my last 3 places privately and intend to do so for as long as I possibly can as I refuse to pay those ba$tards!
