Now enter the code 716563-145253 to join the private league. Enjoy the game."
  2. ...gun crime, rats, mice they're all not very nice. Anyway, I think we all agree that gun crime is bad, hold ups in video shops are wrong and we're glad no-one was hurt in the incident and the perpetrator was caught. Happy ending (so far).
  3. you're never more than 6 feet away from a gun crime in London, or something like that
  4. it's the new black
  5. What you talkin' about Willis? Sorry, I assume you mean Benson the Different Strokes, nope, definitely not
  6. outside the Bishop tonight was a lady, blonde, attractive and in a soap but I can't recall which one. Not Holby, Hollyoaks, Benders and it's really bugging me, does anyone know who she is? oh, and it wasn't the girl from Castway but similar looking
  7. so for all of you who haven't seen, I give you.... White Stuff, 28-30 Lordship Lane, East Dulwich (apologies for the crap picture quality)
  8. Apologies, I was being partly facetious and just giving a couple of examples of emotions/states of mind and not necessarily ones that contribute to suicide. There's information here: http://www.channel4.com/health for anyone that's interested in finding out more
  9. 85, boo yakka sha!
  10. I believe there's more emotions than just depressed and happy Asset, for example there's excitement and loneliness as well.
  11. Parker's Folly Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm amazed that no one has commented on how great > the view over London is from the hillside just > below the estate itself. The East Dulwich Postcards showed the view from that exact point, as mentioned earlier :)
  12. has she stopped going on about class war yet? It's soooo 1984 Anyway, welcome White Stuff, you're here at last, it's seemed like ages since Walsh Glazing left. I like the positive entrance made on this forum and whether people like it or not they are now part of the community, they have a business on the main street that takes money from people, just like Somerfield, Blue Mountain Cafe, ED, The Bishop etc. I have yet to see what they have on sale but I already have some clothes so I can't see me needing to buy anything in there for a while.
  13. I've just found East Dulwich's Rob Da Bank's Sunday Best podcast: www.sundaybestpodcast.com "including Taken by Trees, Andrew Bird, Mode Selector featuring Thom Yorke, My Toys Like Me and more"
  14. I'm going on Saturday so we should compare notes Brendan. In fact I have a couple of spare tickets if anyone else wants to go, I can give them to who ever wants them at the Plough on Friday night
  15. yep, you have make sure the word special*** is not in it, *** can be ist, ism, ised etc. No idea why it happens but it's a pain in the arse.
  16. Let's not forget that the East Dulwich Postcards showed the view from up there:
  17. Here's a way to make money: Let traffic wardens walk up and down queues of traffic and give fines people for driving whilst holding their phone to their ear. Easy money. "But they're stationary, their not hurting anyone" I hear some of you say but as a bike rider I can tell you it's when they pull off with one hand on their phone and the other hand doing both the gear stick and the steering wheel that they're not in control. Especially if they're writing things down as well. You could probably get some more money off them for not wearing a seat belt too. Sorry, gone off topic (had a close call with a prat doing the above yesterday). Perhaps the government could create and then privatise Driving Whilst on the Phone Attendants, who knows they might be liked, unlike the apparently over-zealous parking attendants round here.
  18. it's to cater for different ethnic backgrounds and religious beliefs. regarding the ?5 million, I asked Fusion, Is there going to be any investment in the gym within the next 6 months? 1 year? They said "Southwark Council have allocated ?5m to be invested in a comprehensive refurbishment of Dulwich Leisure Centre and there are designs being presented to various parties as I speak. The schedule for procurement is well underway & I understand that works will begin in the first half of next year."
  19. blimey, hope she's ok but who on earth would hold up a video shop on a Monday afternoon? Did they get away with anything?
  20. And let's not forget men can't swim at East Dulwich pool on a Thursday evening
  21. I missed it, but did see a mini fracas around Lordship Lane on Saturday night about 11. It included the classic scene of a woman running up to bloke, hitting him in a feminine way and shouting "leave him, leave him, why don't you just leave him alone, e ain't done nuffink, just leave him?". Only after she had done that did I see it kick off.
  22. It's the Forum's birthday on the 18th September, so was thinking of doing something special a few days later on the 22nd. Don't know what yet but we can discuss on Friday...
  23. > Jesus handed his [knowledge] out to any one that would listen, as did Mohammed and Buddah. and so does the Flying Spaghetti Monster
  24. oh no, just have an mild interest in the different types of worship and religions and how and why people believe in gods.
  25. so there was a house of 'Premies' in Dulwich? Blimey
