  1. Haven't seen it, could you tell us a bit more about it [edited] it's OK, I've found the website http://www.aninconvenienttruth.co.uk/ [Edited once]
  2. no, never seen that poodle but I shall look out for it
  3. ohhh, don't get me started on consultations, the Goose Green consultation results were meant to be ready in November, came out 4 months late and nothing's happened since. A bit like the roundabout too, ?8,000 to spend on it and all they've done in 6 months is remove the old lampost, probably consulting consultants somewhere on the best way to have a consultation about it. Fractionaiter, good point but the dog thread's turned into "who would win a fight between a fat bloke and the bloke from the Bishop". How about we build a boxing ring on the Goose Green roundabout and organise a fight between them? That would be news. (I think I managed to get that back on topic)
  4. I've put a 'jump to...' drop down box at the botton of all the messges now but getting the 'you are here...' bit there seems to be a bit tricky. You'll notice if I suss ut out.
  5. fluffy dog would win Clarence's owner or fluffy dog's owner?
  6. We were walking through Goose Green a couple of months ago and saw the 2 huge fluffy dogs being walked in the dog free bit, so I obviously pointed this out to the fat guy and his mate who was walking them, he replied; "it's alright I work for the parks department" "hmmmm, doesn't mean you can walk your dogs in the dog free bit does it?" "I look after he place so I can do what I want" "shouldn't you set an example to people then and not walk your dogs in there" "blah blah blah something about them being good dogs and they've done their business already so go away" "fact is mate it's a dog free area and your dogs are in there" "blah blah agressive talk about why don't I sod off and mind my my own business" So we walk off and now dislike the fat bloke who walks those big dogs. Lovely dogs though.
  7. or as Google translates: "For as much time from habia student, bald merodeador. If, I were born in Majadahonda near Madrid. A Madrilenian mockney, if you want"
  8. it's true, I've heard it three times now from different sources
  9. Foxtons is moving to Lordship Lane in June. The building on the opposite corner to The Bishop.

    Quiet room...

*likes today's view and sniggers at huguenot's reference to mike m'bate* *decides to go and lie in hammock for a short while then join keef for a curry*
  11. They're cheeky fare dodgers too! They're peskier than I thought.
  12. I believe foxes shouldn't be encouraged to stay in cities, the only reason they are here is because people feed them scraps and they eat the waste and rubbish we throw out. Here's a typical mangy city fox compared to a healthy country fox: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/81/FoxInHighPark.JPG/180px-FoxInHighPark.JPGhttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ee/Vulpes_vulpes.jpg/200px-Vulpes_vulpes.jpg The ones I see in London are like the one on the left and I think it's more humane to get them back to the countryside.

    Quiet room...

*gracefully lands on the small outside area by parachute with a short, loud swoosh* *unclips the quick release harness so the parachute and kit drops into the arms of the dry cleaner waiting below* *pulls out a chilled bottle of Vintage Chateau D' Yquem Sauternes from under dinner jacket and passes out a few glasses as way of an apology for disturbing the ambience of the quiet room* Nice landscape Keef *raises a silent cheer to all and reclines on a chair in the sun*

    a joke

What's an Essex girl's favourite wine? "I wanna go Lakeside!"
  15. How on earth could someone escape from the police on the 176? I can see the front page headlines on the South London Press: "Escape on the 176" "176 used as getaway vehicle" "forgers escape after low speed bus pursuit" "criminals swap GTi Turbo for bus, they say it's greener and more efficient" or "Squirrels addicted to crack"
  16. damn, down to third on my search results now, perhaps Google knows we didn't win our game last night
  17. hmmm, on my search results the mighty Lordship Lane Sharks come top, with Arsenal in second place
  18. here's a good one, a Google search on London's Premier Football Club

  21. I'll give you one guess as to which site comes up number one if you search for crazy nurse ?
  22. it was 8:40 when I went past, perhaps the crew just hid when they saw you but they were definitely filming outside the ticket office by the main road.
  23. sorry yes it was, I've added it to the title now: filming outside the ED train station this morning
  24. from the quick glance I had it looked more like news crew rather than a film crew. Any idea what they were doing?
  25. >How come "the drum east dulwich" appears twice? One was: "the drum" east dulwich and the other one was: the drum east dulwich (without the ""s), when I exported the list it doesn't export the ""s which is slightly annoying and confusing. Anyway I've attached the full list of 754 terms (without the ""s) to this message should anyone want to have a look.
