  1. I've got a new chair and old style baby set with plastic back and leather strap, fits fine. I bought the chair new around a year ago however wasn't keen on the new plastic baby set, harder to get baby in and out chair. One item I would recommend is the sliders, You can buy them separately and they do work.
  2. I would be very surprised if it's anything other than none for our local RC schools. I personally have no issue with faith schools provided they are non exclusive. My infant and junior school were CoE which basically meant we had assembly each morning with hymns, celebrated Easter, Harvest festival and Christmas. That was the extent of the faith element. Nobody pretended to be something they were not and there was no bogus church attendance. Children of other/no faiths were not excluded from the school, some opted out of the religious element of assembly but that was the only difference between the pupils. Pupils all lived in walking distance and simply went to their closest school. I think mixing faith and non faith places works really well. Exclusivity based upon faith alone doesn't sit well with me I'm afraid, wrong on so many levels :-(
  3. Would second toddler world. Food and drink not allowed in the play area but is allowed on the seats just outside. Cafe quite good too. Nice for lunch afterwards :-) Shame it's not in ED :-(
  4. No conscience at all! By putting the purse back they presumably gave themselves more time to use the cards since they potentially delayed the victim noticing and therefore reporting them stolen :-( Do you know if they attempted to use the cards and where?
  5. It will be covered in the agreement. If you read the agreement it should state the procedure and any continued liability for fees (if any)
  6. My daughter is at little jungle, she loves it there. The staff are really caring and it's a small nursery so very personal. I is really happy there and the facilities are really good. I Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. My son has had his name down before he was born!
  7. Just looked online to book, can't find any info as to what age you pay for children. Anyone know? I assume a 4 month baby isn't charges for, not sure about a 19mth though.
  8. I've got the Vibe2, my son is 4 mths and in the back seat (reclined), 19mth daughter in front. Daughter happy underneath too, although better not reclined when she is in bottom seat. Both happy. Only issue I have is back wheels are quite wide, although not as wide as a double buggy. I also find manoeuvring in small spaces awkward. Buggy seems light.... Until I put my toddler in but then I can't blame that on the buggy ;-)
  9. Returned on goodrich at half ten....
  10. Your lucky you still had water...... We are in Goodrich and it's been off since @1. Annoyingly the Thames website shows a leak on Friern Road by Goodrich, and LL by Goodrich so I assumed they were the cause of the problem! It was only when walking to the Dr's I saw the water gushing on Goodrich! Fingers crossed it's back soon.
  11. The Buggie snuggled are expensive but do solve the muddy boot problem. We have 2, one for my 4 mth old and one for my 19mth old, very cosy and warm. Def prefer Buggie snuggle to blanket!
  12. Definitely don't waste your money on that gown! Primark attire of a tshirt you no longer want is the way forward. First time round I packed a tankini for my planned water birth.... Didn't understand all the pictures of labouring women getting naked! As it happened I was naked and in the bath pretty much immediately and for the majority of labour. Ended up giving birth in an attractive blue open back hospital gown and long white DVT stockings! Emergency csection. Second time round I had two attractive blue gowns, one on back to front (tip from midwife), also had the attractive stockings again for an elective c section. Afterwards pj's with two vest tops is ideal so you can pull the bottom one down and top one up to bf, alternatively a top with buttons. Flip flops a must!! Also cheap primarni big pants!
  13. Still a gushing river on Goodrich Road. There is a Thames Water van there but no one seeming to be doing anything..... One chap sat un the van.
  14. It's been off since @1 this afternoon. Thames water said workmen were there at 4 ..... But they haven't been! Stuck in traffic and expected any minute allegedly.
  15. Surely it's aimed a toddlers over 2 ie they have their own seat and for safety should be in it and strapped in. I would be interested to know the outcome of this as will be flying with my 4 mth old with Easyjet soon.
  16. Sounds a great idea, look forward to hearing more :-) I second something being suitable for babies and toddlers. Have a lovely holiday!
  17. They do.... Bugaboo donkey
  18. No problem, his name is Barry Sullivan, His number 07860 277 829 or 0207 242 6766 His office is in New House, Suite 15, 2nd floor, 67-68 Hatton Garden Give him a call to organise an appointment. Ive used him on a couple of occasions now. Good luck
  19. Only ever had one bad experience and got compensated extremely well. My latest experience went beyond good service :-) def my store of preference!
  20. Ooh that sounds ideal, will do some googling! The brake on the Vibe is on the handle so it may just work.....
  21. Sounds as though the ring was not fit for purpose, ie everyday wear for a lifetime! If an independent expert can verify this then you could make a claim against the Jeweller, although I'm sure it wouldn't come to that. I have used a chap in Hatton Garden for valuations, he is a nice chap and works predominantly as an expert witness in jewellery cases in court. Happy to pass on his details to you. If you dont fancy that route, Is it covered under your house insurance policy?
  22. There was an episode of Mr blooms nursery and he put eggshells and gravel around his plants that were getting eaten.... Apparantly they don't like or can't slide over the rough surface. I'm watching far too much Cbeebies :-$
  23. She is a size 5 now so I have 2's 3's and 4's plus half sizes. The uggs are pre walkers and are a small and medium which I think is 0-6mths and 6-12mths.
  24. I too move snails from the middle of the path to stop them being squished..... Have felt soooo guilty when accidentally squishing when walking in the dark :-( Does the flowerpot snail house method really work? There are loads in my garden, loads of foxes too for that matter, found one curled up asleep on the patio table yesterday in broad daylight!! Clearly very scared of the dog.... NOT!
  25. I think I've got some guide books somewhere, they are a few years old but your welcome to borrow them.
