  1. Yes, think it's Monday to Wed or Thursday nights. Used to be just Tuesday's but went there the other week and def extended :-)
  2. Tends to vary, they always seem to have Autarky, Baker's, pedigree chum and their own brand of the dry complete food, the veterinary type foods it's a bit more hit and miss.
  3. Locale baby friendly :-)
  4. Sounds very interesting :-) not sure about the name though!!
  5. Def works both ways, the adapters will need swapping over though. Good luck x
  6. I've had one for years... Not everything is cheaper but there is a lot that is! Dog food is particularly good value, I make my ?20 back on this alone! Washing powder / softener etc all good value too.
  7. The hardest part is the release and getting them the right way round, they state R and L but it depends which way the seat faces. I haven't used mine for a while but seem to remember it was always the opposite to what I expected. If you do put them on the wrong way round the car seat won't look right when clipped on, kind of on a slant!! Easy to just squeeze release and swap over though :-)
  8. Where in ED are you? I have the Cameleon too and am happy to show you. We are on Goodrich Road. Clarex
  9. Thankyou, didn't really think of it as a nanny share given we haven't organised it with the other family but I suppose it is in reality. Any recommendations out there for nanny agencies that could do this? What do they charge and would they still act given they haven't been involved in the nanny finding side of things.
  10. We would love to join you too, baby ClareC is 8 months in a couple of days and loves feeding herself :-)
  11. Said they were 2 and 4 when they set off, must have been 3 and 5 when reached Oz. Great to be able to extend the trip 2 years but also wondered what they would do about schooling!! That said, my dad's cousin built a yacht and has been sailing the world for years now (charters it when he needs cash). His kids had no formal schooling but are fluent in numerous languages!
  12. My friend had number one in Oct last year, back at work 6 weeks before maternity leave starts for number two, due November!! Thought you were supposed to not get pregnant whilst exclusively breast feeding!!
  13. Fantastic experience, it's the age of the kids that is the problem. 2 and 4 is too young for the potential benefits :-(
  14. We go to a pool at a school in Herne Hill. It's babyswimming.co.uk,age from 4 months.
  15. Omg....now they have poisoned themselves!!!
  16. We are watching.... No way is what they are doing a good idea!! It's his dream and the family are just there for convenience! Can't believe he would put those two boys in such a risky situation! Edited to correct iPhone typos ;-)
  17. Another nanny pay question..... I intend to go back to work in January part time, 3 days per week. I have found a fantastic nanny that is looking for a position for 3 days a week - Perfect! Having looked at the nanny tax website posted on here, it would seem that 1 day per week, net and gross pay is very similiar, day 2 gross is slightly more whereas day 3 there is a huge difference (significant tax and NI to pay in addition to net salary). Obviously this is due to the annual tax allowance and tax banding, ie if a nanny worked just one day a week she would be tax exempt for the majority of her income The bit I am not sure about though is that I know she works the other 2 days of the week.... if I pay as per the website that is presumably based upon those 3 days being her sole income. How do you factor in that you are not the sole employer? Any advice gratefully received!!
  18. Mini micro scooter. I bought one for my nephews 2nd birthday last year, he loved it (and still does). His 4 year old brother was quite taken with it too!

Along with intolerance of others.... especially others that are "different" to yourself. Prejudicial generalisations!!
  20. Thanks for organising Ruth, it was lovely meeting everyone :-)
  21. Dogs work.... I have two and strangely they all seem scared of them!! Very rarely get the unwanted callers now :-)
  22. Will be there soon!!
  23. I'm in the same boat too :-( My daughter had been sleeping well but became unwell around a week ago. Whilst unwell she woke through the night and I happily fed her (she was off her food so milk was all she was eating), she is better now, and bacon her food but now wakes wanting milk..... It's a battle of wills tonight!!! She is very angry at being only offered water:-( Would love to know how to break this cycle, she is nearly 8 months.
  24. What time is everyone planning on being there?
