How are these events being funded ? Hopefully not by Southwark council as they stopped funding of the Dulwich Christmas cracker !

Agree that the park would be a much more conducive environment for events and surprised that the patisserie hasn't set up tables and chairs to take advantage of the space.. oh hang on people are blocking the cycle lanes so not such a good example of using a shared space after all..

The cat , one with a walnut oil dressing of course !

True Foxy But I don't have a problem with a plague of rats trying to dig up my garden to hide their nuts 😂 and a rat fur coat doesn't appeal either !
-
Reminds me of a Limerick Foxy stood on a burning deck Eating a plate of Scallops One rolled down his trouser leg And burnt him on his bol... Wallet 😱

Kid I think that the red necks in the USA would eat their own relatives if they were hungry. After all being kin doesn't stop them a marrying (just had a weird image of cousins marrying and grandpa being the wedding breakfast )

Oh no However if it's that important, you can always contact them a day in advance and order what you want. Tell me foxy, do you get "pleasure" from moaning and finding fault ?

Your maths is not your strong point foxy 1 server 20 people yes 40 minutes However as there are often multiple servers on a busy day then that time goes down exponentially and rapidly. Maybe try an experience and cross the threshold you may well be pleasantly surprised at how quick you do, quality of stock and knowledge of the staff And if you are really lucky they may even have your all time favourite "crabby" sticks

Who dis I've changed my phone and don't know who you are (especially if you are getting "THAT look") You're on your own now as no man or army can defend you especially as your wife will soon raise the time you did x y z back in 2010 and she still hasn't forgiven you - Mrs Blah ,right with you on that (Spartacus knows which side his bread is buttered in this fight)

DovertheRoad Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Nice analysis Blah. You two are on your own now , I've called the Samaritan's for you as you both seem keen to end it all but I can't be responsible for the carnage that you are begging for ! I've also told my mummy and she says I can hide behind her skirt so I don't have to watch the ritual disembowelment by the collective war machine commonly know as the East Dulwich Women's Institute 😭

Spartacus runs for cover and considers hiding behind a rock till the dust settles and the women come out victorious from the fight at we all know they will !

It's all in the dressing isn't it? Whatttttt , there's a special way if getting dressed before making a salad Well you live and learn and could explain why my salads are so bland, lack of imagination in dressing up....

Oh THAT friend who was at the place we can't mention in public with the thing we can't mention 😱 say no more

It's a shop that sells > fish. > > Foxy Then go to the supermarket as going to local shops sounds too arduous for you but don't come hobbling to me when they are gone As for moxons their staff are also trained fishmongers but a slightly bigger organisation than sopers Your question has been answered with two local options so now you have a choice of three places to go and you can take your pick of whichever suits your preferences (cost vs distance vs size) Sadly no one can solve your problems for you
-
That Answers your own question foxy Either pay for quality, possibly hand dived large scallops or get peas from the supermarket Your choice but my advice is use the local businesses before they are lost and supermarket rubbish is your only option 😱

I'm asking for a friend who's still too scared to go to the supermarket to get chicken. Are you allowed to kill and eat our non native greys ? I know St Johns had them on the menu once but the annoying ones in my garden don't look like they will have much meat on them ! Is it legal ? Is it safe ? Any sauce or cooking techniques you can recommend ? Can you make a coat out of their pelts after ?

Dangerous waters you are sailing DoverTheRoad Hope you have Mae West on for when you get tipped out of your boat 😱 Threads on Brexit, political outcry, cycle lanes and Road Closures seem tame compared to what could happen in here ! >

Mr chicken Stop your silly clucking and twisting of my words as you are scratching uselessly in the ground. The point I was making is not that we should all abandon public transport wholesale and move to cars, simply that as public transport presents a higher risk of germ and virus transmission then we should abandon the drive to push more people onto it as pre pandemic it was already at peak capacity. There is an equal balance of the needs for cars, public transport and other methods of getting around and the push for cycling can't be touted as a one size fits all solution.

There's > plenty to choose from. Guess the advice that has been dolled out to the car wed could be applied to you here, if the area doesn't suit then you could always move to the countryside. Or is that too much of a price to pay, much like its too much of a price for car owners who it's been leveled at ?
