Sofia, sleep is getting worse yes but I'm not up/wide awake. I get numb hips so am like a rotisserie chicken waking every 1-2 hrs having to rotate/switch sides til that one goes numb. Not fun, often worse 4am so maybe that's baby waking hour?!! -

Thanks Eimear - plus see you at NCT tomorrow. I have only just been finding out about the NHS classes - so might see what you think before going for those as may well be some repeat of NCT? Tortor - I think you're due 2 days before me (I'm 12th July) so would be good to catch up at the next drinks and compare notes! -

Hey ladies, lovely to see lots of you tonight. I mentioned the Baby and Toddler Show at Bluewater this weekend to a couple of you, we're going on Saturday. There is a 2-for-1 offer on tickets at the moment so you can save ?12. Go to www.babyandtoddlershow.co.uk and enter BS44 code to get the offer. It's on Fri 9.30-4.30, Sat 9.30-5 and Sun 10-5 - might see you there. My tickets came via email which I then had to print out - not sure if they'll do it another way or not as it's only in a few days. Ginny -

Great night but the time flew and didn't get to speak to everyone! ;( Looking fwd to next one. -
We're in Ondine Rd so behind you and gardeners doing our fence commented the water level was high in the garden. We often have damp patches in our cellar in the concrete floor.

I'd love to meet up with as many peeps again as it was fun. Been trying to think where we could try next or does the EDT become the regular haunt with their free soda? ;o) Also didn't get to talk to everyone yet as you say Caroline. -

Hi ladies, I thought I should re-check our booking and so looked back through the thread to see how many people might be coming tomorrow evening. (I've been telling my hubby it's about 8-10 people) however check this list out at the bottom of my post! - 19 of us! I just checked with the EDT and the area is still booked and it can hold that many people so we're fine. They are serving food (I'll probably grab some food) and it's booked under "Ginny". Same area as before, so if you come in the main doors, go to the right of the bar and into the next "room" (on way to ladies toilets) and then it's the alcove just inside that room on the right - hopefully that makes sense. Otherwise look out for the large group of ladies or ask at the bar! Looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow. I should be there from 7pm. Any newcomers to this thread - feel free to join us! List below (apols if I've missed anyone who said they're coming, 5 pages of posts to read through!) :o) Me Astrid83 Higgles lstickler Sals12 Hollysamantha Sashabella MarleneG5S Furners78 Ellianna PhillyIlly LollyED Julesonline BellendenBear Mikimoo CatB99 Mbr Whittinr Wooly -

Hi Laura, Hopefully you've seen in the history we're meeting in the EDT on 19th Feb, 7pm - table booked under Ginny - hope you can make it, I'm sure we'll meet up again too if you or others can't make it. Sounds like we'll all be easy to spot with mini-bumps and badges! Ginny -
Went to Longleat in 2010 and 2011 with wider family. The last time my nieces were 2.5 and 4.5. My Mum pre-booked "fairy funtime" for the girls who both loved it, think you get to go with one adult though (not sure if that is per child or trip so maybe check). Swimming was obviously great (though mixed reactions on the kiddie slides so depends how adventurous your kids are). They have life jackets for kids for those not so confident with swimming and massive "driers" for when you get out that fit about 4 people inside (costs ?1 or ?2 though). First year they screamed the place down when put in a trailer on the back of a bike, 2nd year they loved it! Lots of playgrounds, lake areas for ducks etc, a duck, rabbit and deer also went past the villa which caused much excitement. We have always taken food with us and haven't eaten out there once, i.e. pre-made meals to freeze and take and put in fridge in villa to defrost over time - took frozen lasagne, frozen moussaka, pasta and sauce, home-made pizzas (took dough, made and topped there), salads that sort of thing and then sandwiches for lunch. You can pre-order a "welcome pack" which has some basics in but we took most stuff with us I recall. Took some board games too, trying to remember if the TV had a DVD inbuilt? Probably did. Enjoy!

Wow! Twins galore! Am looking forward to meeting everyone on the 19th! Incase anyone else thinking it, I'll probably grab some food in the EDT as we're meeting at that sort of time. And yes 19th Feb. I had a v brief scan today (checking other things but v pleased when did a quick belly check too). Have a very active baby apparently! And it turned to screen so it looked like it looked at me which was kinda freaky but cool!! -
Echoing most posts here but just to let you know we're having our loft done which won't touch next doors wall at all but as its a terrace we have to get agreement from next door per 1996 Party Wall act. Worrying thing is they've never been asked before yet both sides have done work in the past! So not everyone seems to honour it. Our loft company told us we had to get agreement within 2 weeks else you are "in dispute" and have to get surveyor in to satisfy the other party. Good luck, you have law on your side. Sounds like council might help.

All booked, under Ginny, 7pm. Asked for the bit if u walk in and go to the right and go into the next section (toward ladies) and it's the area immediately inside that section on the right (hope that makes sense) -
