Hey ladies, I'm a 2nd timer due mid-May (1st will only be 22 months when 2nd arrives, eek!!) ;) Happy to share experiences from last time and looking forward to meeting a new bunch of ED mums-to-be. We could leave it a bit til we have a few more people then maybe arrange a meetup? I was in one of these groups last time and our first meetup had 22 ladies and bumps! Ginny

Wow didn't realise it happened that long ago. Agree hope no one badly hurt. They were still sorting out towing the bus 5.45pm when I walked past (had to get off bus as traffic really slow). Can't imagine how it happened on that stretch with bus and van going in opp directions, guess one overtaking? Pic of bus attached, was a shock to see! (Excuse headphone lead across pic)

We went a couple of months ago and stayed in a great hotel K+K hotel Picasso. It's near the Parc, Zoo, train station and near a cool area called Born. We could quickly walk to a stop for the hop on bus tour and the restaurants in the marina area as well as to Ramblas if you can manage a longer walk. Hotel provided a cot. Highchair at breakfast. There is a pool on the roof too which was a bonus (might be too cold when you go). Our little one was a year old. Enjoy!

Yeeha childcare. Jessie uses the forum so you could do a search? Our 14 month old has been here 3 months and loves it.

I often get prints from http://www.framemyname.co.uk for christenings. You can add a personalised message, dates etc. just got one last week. (I don't recommend the stained frame, very orangey looking, I ended up covering it. So go white or buy own frame.

Gymboree is already open behind the (future) cafe. Cafe has taken ages and progress still looks slow when I go past!

Gymboree open now (at the back) Cafe will open in front, soon I was told when tried out Gymboree last week.

If you go back to it you should have an option underneath your message saying "edit post" I just checked one I had put and the option was there.

Ours has been out since last night on Ondine Road, anyone else?

We have the Motorola MBP41 which is a video monitor (invaluable!!) and reaches from kitchen to loft (multi-floor house so that's a lot of floors and walls). Reception drops sometimes in the garden and always when microwave on but other than that we're really happy with it. It's travelled well on holiday and a nifty extra that I didn't see with others is you can zoom in and pan up and down and left and right (so far you can see while nursery) which could be more handy when baby is older. Got it a few months ago on offer at Argos so a good price too.

ADT yet again on Ondine Road. Seriously do they not keep records of who they bothered the last 3 times!?!? Or maybe that's the point, try until we give in..... Sigh. Doorbell woke the baby too, thanks!

We were quoted 6 weeks so I was worried but like Loz guess it was luck as got it back in 6 days (this was in August for an early Oct holiday last year for our 3 month old). Sorry to hear yours was so stressful, hard to believe it can vary so much!

The yellow ones did best for me last year. I think they're called Sungold?

Does anyone know if this is continuing on Thursday mornings? I know it stops in school holidays so there weren't showings over Easter but I've not seen any showings listed the last 2 Thursdays on their schedule? Haven't been nearby to pop in and ask so thought I'd see if anyone on here knew? Ta

Have had 2 in our house also (one flying past my ear 3am, nice!) Also no idea where coming from. Very dosy and both caught and put outside. We are not near Northcross though.

ADT caller just now on Ondine Road. Just told her we have ADT calling every few months and are not interested and shut the door. Surprises me they keep on targeting the same roads? How many times do people have to say no?

Our route to Wandsworth (when headed for A3 to parents) is Camberwell, Oval, Vauxhall, head for Battersea, past power station, keep going, head for Wandsworth roundabout. Common just up from there. Traffic can of course vary and never done it at that time. Takes 30 mins ish? Prefer this to South Circular, Clapham and C Junct routes.

5pm today on Ondine Road. Only answered door incase was a delivery as was in middle of feeding baby. Babe in arms screaming like mad helped me when saying "No thanks" and shutting door! I never had door to door callers in 8 years on another ED street very nearby (apart from occasional religious ones) so why so many now? That's twice for ADT in last few months too.
