  1. I am on benefit. Or rather my kids are. We get child benefit. I think it's too much as we don't spend it but rather pay it directly into their savings accounts. Not sure what you mean by 'too much fraud'. Do you mean so much that the benefit should be stopped and the innocent should suffer. If so then there is definitely not too much fraud. I think benefit fraud is massively overreported and miniscule in comparison to tax evasion. Tax evasion is much less taboo than benefit fraud though. That seems unfair to me.
  2. The Footbridge and Firkin in Clifton?

  7. You have been to Albania Snorky? Did you get the ferry from Italy? Was meaning to go in search of the next big thing. Albania is the new Montenegro apparently. Did you spot any investment property bargains?

I'm no Mystic Meg but maybe. It already seems it will be similarly dominated by chains but I'm not sure that you will get the same level of visiting consumers with such limited transport.
  9. Used to live in Cloudesley Road between 1998 and 2000. I now live in Allendale Close, Camberwell so I don't quite fit the bill. That said I can confirm that there is a striking resemblance between LL now and Upper Street then although the scale is significantly smaller in SE22.

  17. Jigsaw I asked the guy in Jigsaw if the shop was named after the carpentry tool or the children's toy. He said he didn't know so I insisted he rang head office. The fool at head office said the toy. I then told her that the toy was named after the saw and that as it is a transitive relation the implication is that the shop is therefore also named after the saw. Imagine her embarrasment! Head office! Er...Links of London Tie Rack Pret a manger
