  1. My first EDF jolly up since last April and look what happens. I managed to give the EDT the swerve afterwards and didn't pass go and went straight to the Drum instead, which is remarkably still going and thank feck for that and all who sail in her, though I'd feel a hell of a lot better if I hadn't had to go to work this morning. I nodded off briefly and woke up in Stratford which is not really what I wanted to do at all. I need my bed. Edited:- because it's fecking hard to type when you're still smashed. My fingers are like a pound of sausages this morning and my head hurts...ouch.
  2. Give to KK then. What the feck do I care. She's been posting long enough. Dedicated follower of the forum and all that stuff. Must want it badly. I met Jeremy last night in the flesh so to speak, albeit briefly and I have to say what a splendid chap he is, so he still gets my vote. Sorry KK and James.
  3. Pah! I haven't been to bed yet. Fecking lightweight.
  4. That swings it for me then then Keef. Jeremey gets my vote too.
  5. Bollocks Sean. I'll never forget what that bitch did.
  6. With you on that Cdonline. Here's a bit of Dylan for yer Thatch. And I hope that you die And your death'll come soon I will follow your casket In the pale afternoon And I'll watch while you're lowered Down to your deathbed And I'll stand o'er your grave 'Til I'm sure that you're dead Oh and you'll not be getting any money back if the your bank don't comply with the Bank Of England's cut.
  7. As per usual the Daily Mash has it's finger on the pulse of the nation. Banks Are Thieving Bastards

  9. Grrrrr! Feck!

Do you want a happy finish with the massage MP? It could be worse, we could be under the Tories.

  13. What bon3yard said and ok Keef Bent is improving, slowly but surely. I feel someone like Redknapp can only give him the kind of confidence he needs to put in the kind of performances that he is now beginning to show. His first hat-trick in five years though. Still needs to do better for me. Anyway he has created a nice bit competition for places up front with Pavlyuchenko and that can only be a good thing. Very entertaining game last night, Modric at his best, a hat-trick for Bent, Woodgate in total command at the back but Man of the Match has to go to Huddlestone who was superb throughout laying on all of Bent's goals and scoring a fabulous volley direct from a Bentley corner. I've got to mention the fans from Dinamo Zagreb who were brilliant and in fantastic voice all night and really added to a great atmosphere. They lit a few flares which reminded us that we were playing a European tie and when secrurity moved in they protested by all taking the shirts off. They continued singing, and banging their drums and blowing their whistles in time even after the game was long over. Even louder and more continuous that Pompey's away support and that's saying something.
  14. Calamity James is a far better goalkeeper than that clown we've got at the moment.
  15. And Diarra, Defoe and David James according to the tabs, though it looks like Diarra is on his way to Man City.
  16. Just another way of pissing our money up the wall. I need to pay off some debts and the quicker I can do that then I've got more money to spend down the pub and hoorah to that.
  17. I was on the phone for about eight seconds and hung up once I heard it was some marketing company prize thingy but they clamped the phone and that was the bill I got for the call. Bastards!!!!
  18. Thanks for that. I once fell for a phone scam and ended up with a ?1,800 phone bill. BT were bastards and no help whatsoever and I had to pay the bill. ICSTIS traced the call to a fly-by-night company in Poland. Naturally I am no longer with BT.
  19. Bloody hell! I hadn't heard that version before. Cheers Mockers!

    Great Gigs

Great story giggirl. Be even better if you named and shamed the valley girls in question.
  21. Angel Delight!!!! I used to love that and did the same thing. Butterscotch Angel Delight was absolutely heaven. Must get some soon.
  22. I played the album that this is on for the first time in ages the other day. Produced by Andrew Weatherall and featuring the very lovely Dot Allison. I can't believe it's 15 years old. Where'd the frigging time go? Still, a tune and the album still sounds great. One Dove - White Love
  23. Oh dear the Gooners seem to be slipping a bit. They're not as good as they think they are. Still, at least they're not bottom of the Premiership like we are. Going up the Spurs tonight and hoping for a good win against Dinamo Zagreb.
  24. Very pleased that Barack Obama won and the very best of luck to him. He's going to need it. He's got a very tough job on his hands following the incompetence of the last administration. I'm still amazed that the fuckwits in America voted for Bush not once but twice. No more Neo-cons supporting a puppet and sucking up to big business. No more war pigs.
  25. You're right Jeremy. On paper he should win but I wouldn't right off Jones. I think it'll probably go the distance and Calzaghe can take it on a split decision.
