So, it would seem my plans are foiled re: the portable ashtrays and there I was trying to be a smoker with a social conscience. So, I'll just flick my ash and fag butts and generally blow my smoke at in the general direction of deeply irritating people like *Bob* who probably waves his hands frantically in front of his nose and coughs in front of people like me who have made us smokers into "social pariahs." But, I will be investing in one of those Stubbs pouches. By the way the outside of my office now resembles a leper colony. Grrr!.

I'm thinking of working on an idea for portable ashtrays for smokers. Can't think why anyone hasn't come up with the idea before. I smoke and I can't stand it when people stub their cigarettes out on the floor especially when there are ashtrays provided but you can get fined ?50 and upwards just for stubbing you ciggie out on the street!

Blimey Sean I think you're right and I had a perfectly revolting meal in there last year with a young lady friend who insisted it would be fine. Never again.

So the old Plough would have been right up your street then Bleep. I think to be fair it's still early days yet for the "new" Plough. You can't expect things to change overnight just because a pub has had a refit but time will tell and good luck to the people running it.

Hmmm, the decor looks a little dodgy but chairs look like they have come from an old people's home. Not impressed, will have to have a closer inspection.
