True CD, and I hope they don't balls that up. It would be great to have a pub on the lower east side end of the Lane within easy walking distance of home, one that isn't full of blockheads who want to start a fight after six pints of Stella and half a gram of Charlie.

Oh! I know, it's Scot from the Bishop's new enterprise. Used to be the Brockwell Park Tavern before it was Gangly's. Haven't been in there yet, will try it out sometime soon.

The point is though is that it is no longer a pub but an 'horrible 'Harvester and a lot of us here would prefere if it was restored to pub.

Nothing crafty about that at all. Any publican worth his salt should get tasty bar staff behind the jump. Puts bums on seats and sells drinks.

That's great news as I've always enjoyed the food, ambience and great service of their other restaurant Lorenzo's up at the Palace.

I'll drink to that. It was one of the first pubs I ever drank in when I was a teenager back in the early 70s.

Well, there you are Alan, I don't drive a car either, never bothered to pass my test, too many cars on the road, and I never carry a wallet. Do I get bonus points for that too? Or should that be even less points? Hmmm....
