Good Friday Agreement......
Tony.London Suburbs replied to Tony.London Suburbs's topic in The Lounge
I agree David and others but I did not realise the real hardcore were also set free, I must admit. Reading about this Guy now, he seems as low as you can get. -
Can our Family have My Great Aunt's 5 Houses back please, that she received a pittance for, in Faraday Street/Westmoreland Road to build The Aylesbury Estate? Thanks for destroying the Walworth Community back in The 1960's with The Heygate/Aylesbury Developments, by the way...bustards.... It was the "largest Estate in Europe" at the time, don't you know? Something to be proud of, for sure and the Architects were even far-sighted enough to provide dark walkways and hidden gangways for, er, gangs, to operate and they did, they most certainly did....bustards, as I said....

The release of this Guy back into Society, at any time in the remainder of his murderous existence, and also, presumably, many others, from both sides, who performed equally despicable and disgusting acts against others. -
Just read today's Death List to ensure I'm not in it, and after that promising start, I read about this Guys death yesterday.. William "Spud" Moore (born c. 1949, died 18 May 2009) was a loyalist paramilitary from Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was a member of the brutal Shankill Butchers, an Ulster Volunteer Force gang. In 1972 Moore met 20-year-old Lenny Murphy, who would become the leader of the Shankill Butchers. Moore was then aged 23 and had a few previous convictions for petty crime. He had worked at a butcher's shop from which he had stolen various knives and meat-cleavers. He then started working as a taxi-driver. Beginning in 1975, the gang started abducting and murdering Roman Catholics. Moore would drive around Catholic neighbourhoods in his taxi looking for prospective victims. Murphy and the others would bundle victims into the back of the taxi and beat and torture them, before Murphy would finally drag them out into an alley and cut their throats. The following year Murphy was arrested and subsequently convicted of a firearms offence, and to divert suspicion from himself he ordered the Butcher slayings to continue. They did so, with Moore now acting as the leader. The gang also killed several rival loyalists as a result of petty feuds, in addition to planting a bomb in Catholic neighbourhood during an IRA parade. The bomb killed a 10-year-old boy, and wounded over 100 people. After a victim escaped alive, the Shankill Butchers were rounded up by police and most of them broke down and confessed, although they were too terrified to implicate Lenny Murphy. They stood trial in February 1979. William Moore pleaded guilty to the most murders, eleven, and was convicted of these and a further eight murders. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. However, Moore was released in 1998 under the terms of the Good Friday Agreement. It has been alleged recently that Moore is involved in a loyalist drug-dealing, including a visit to a notorious Edinburgh gang[1] Moore died in his north Belfast home on 18 May 2009 as the result of a suspected heart attack. Assuming, equally notorious Catholics were also set free under this Agreement its no wonder that some kind of deal was done. How, in the name of Basil D'Oliviera, can this have been allowed to happen?

I have regrets for things I didn't do, including situations where opportunity arose and I didn't see it, at the time. I have even more regret for something I did do and if I'm not careful, soon I will have regret for something I should be doing but am not doing ( or not doing quickly enough ). One day this opportunity may not be there (and as I've just turned 55, yesterday ) I had better get my finger out, sharpish....

Ran over Millbank. Over Lambeth Bridge and then made the fatal mistake of stopping and witnessing the other ( faster) Guys coming over Vauxhall Bridge, also on their way to Peckham. The staggerred start was never going to give me enough advantage.....

I know Yawning is contagious so I've started but what exactly is the yawn inducement? One thing I will say for West Ham and their legion of supporters from Rainham to Romford is that they are "proper" people...

Sorry to hear that Paul. Not a Rabbit expert but Animals do pine for loved ones and can get very depressed. The longer you do nothing to change the situation then, presumably, the longer Jessica will be depressed. Others may give you better advice but I would get a Boy Rabbit a.s.a.p. and "fingers crossed" you should see a dramatic improvement in Jessica's behaviour because Animals also, thankfully, "move on" quickly, usually. Really sorry about Mr. Scruff and don't quite understand how they left him there/did not contact you etc......but dothis as soon as you can M8 and let us all know the outcome.

If the opening sequence of The (original) Italian Job doesn't fill you with Joie De Vivre then nothing, surely, will.. The film starts with a driver's-eye view of a Lamborghini Miura driving through the Italian Alps as the titles roll. Following the car as it negotiates the turns at high speed, the scenery is cut off when the car enters the darkness of a tunnel and subsequently explodes. The viewpoint changes to the other end of the tunnel, where the remains of the ill-fated Lamborghini are pulled from the tunnel, wrapped around the front of a bulldozer. Gorgeous views of The Italian Alps, a great car and the wondrous sound of Matt Monro singing "On Days Like These"......
