  2. apple dunking anyone. halloween as long as i can remember from my childhood in ireland was always about the children and bah humbug to anyone who suggests otherwise. lots of callers at my gaff tonight, the more the merrier.
  3. its just as well you,re no carol vorderman, she would have used 2 small ones and any 4 others, would have made a right mess.
  4. brand i could never stand, think he is a load of over rated tosh, ross good for a while espicially on "they think its all over" but now he,s become very predictible with the same old stuff everyweek both on the telly and radio. what they have done is wrong and beyond acceptable, but without knowing the ins and outs of it all, i am coming to some sort of conclusion that brand was likely behind it all hence his decision to resign, not as the right thing to do, but more as a case of jumping before being pushed following the inquest which will no doubt follow. the suspension of them both again a case of the beeb having to be seen to do something in the face of the whole affair. when the whole thing dies down in the next few days, ross will be back on air hopefully chastened by his part in the affair and maybe in a position to reflect on his actions and perhaps give us shows in which he is able to use his wit and repartee not to outrage but to provide the type of entertaining program which no doubt the beeb were hoping he would provide for 6 mil a year.
  5. stuff oz v kiwi,s. if anyone has setanta, get it switched on 0830 fri morning. second match in the hybrid aussie rules-gaelic football series, australia vs ireland. our boys are a point up from the 1st match the series being played aggregate score over 2 games, so expect the aussies to come out flying. so far none of the violence that has marred the last 2 series has appeared, but theres always hope.
  6. i,m a bloke with a career, own money and 2 kids. i still however find time to lounge about coffee shops, go to the parks, eat in greasy spoons, buy more tit tat than what is healthy, get out to the boozer 2-3 times a week. i,ve lived in ed for 16 years and when first arrived i was a bloke with a career, no money and no kids. what went wrong?

  14. 2 shades out, to be brutally honest can/would you notice any difference, me thinks one is being a bit pedantic just for the sake of it.

    Mushrooms

I got growing box last xmas and eventually got round to opening it in June. Followed the instructions and while the results in no way resemble the picture on the box, I,ve still managed 2 crops of what are best described as button mushrooms.
