  1. If France win I'll be happy. They are playing cavalier rugby backed by a coach who didn't play a recognised goal kicker against England because "..rugby isnt about winning penalties, it's about scoring tries.." How is that for a refreshing attitude. Can you imagine England having such spirit? The Eng/France game was such an enthralling game because the French kept running the ball often from their own 22. Vive le France! BTW I'm English and want England to win.

  4. The solution lies not in tackling the dropping of litter - it lies in how we go about picking it up. Given that there will always be litter simply because a gust of wind might blow litter out of a bin, a fox might rip open a black bin liner and, of course some people will never consider the dropping of trash on the public highway to be wrong, my suggestion is that next time you walk down the road and see a piece of litter, as a good member of the community, pick it up and put it in a bin.

  11. Much sympathy goes to Eduardo, though from what I've heard he's not blaming Taylor, simply saying that in football, these things happen. Even as an Arseanl fan I think Tayor was unlucky. It was mis-timed rather than vindictive and he must feel pretty rotten. Still he did go in studs up so probably cannot complain that he was sent off. I actually blame coaches rather than players for most of the nasty "kick-them-off-the-park" mentality that does creep in to the beautiful game from time to time. Rather than pitch their skill against a superior team, they'll issue the instruction to go in hard and knobble the bastards. Sad.
