  1. Assuming this is sarcasm how is selling an animal unethical? If the seller is making reasonable efforts to see that they go to a good home then buying and selling of animals is normal no? jonah Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > selling kittens wow so ethical
  2. Sounds like flocker spotter is more knowledgeable than the police that advised the OP and so best listen to their opinion and not the local law enforcers that have both an overview and in depth record of crime etc if I were you Localresident2016......

Is this a verified test of whether someone has issues with alcohol consumption?! With this conclusive test and sound advice you should set up a clinic Ms Blueberry. You've managed to do here what professionals take years to train in and takes hours of comprehensive assessment, monitoring, psychological practice and support to help people with. And it was food poisoning! Who knew it was this easy? Someone should tell the NHS
  4. I've seen the Love Walk white Squirrel! Boris the white squirrel from Camberwell: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/fresh-sightings-of-white-squirrel-in-camberwell-fuel-rumours-boris-bred-before-his-death-a3124201.html
  5. Use Bio Oil religiously and exfoliate.....just as soon as wounds have healed
  6. There is no way I'm clicking on a link for fillthathole......particularly from a work computer!!!!! :-) natty01295 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > also Try; > > https://www.fillthathole.org.uk > > Very Good website
  7. Yep, I'd say the world's most extensive heroin producing region known as the Golden Triangle is an obvious family destination! Assuming it's SE Asia you are interested in touring (as opposed to taking the kids on a post exam opiate run) then I'd say absolutely great! I've not done a country hopping touring trip as such, but have been SE Asia a number of times (including as a lone traveller) and loved it.
  8. It worked! At least I think it worked! To be fair I had already reported the issue to the council but received no response. I have now used the website again with a bin issue- having complained a number of times to Lewisham Council with no result, if the issue gets sorted this time then we can conclude that this website helps! :-)

    Drugs

Subject had a promising start.......fizzled out shortly after.....like most drugs
  10. Thanks for raising this topic CAZW19- I'm following with interest! Kings Fertility looks similar in pricing to other clinics to me. Or perhaps even a bit more expensive......in comparison to the London Women's Clinic for example. I guess it all depends on what you are actually having done. As Sonners said, some clinics seem to be better for different things. Has anyone been to Kings Fertility more recently?
  11. I have been advised to use this website regarding a few issues in the street (stuff like fly tipping, bins, pavements.....stuff you contact the council about and they ignore) as apparently it's really helpful in getting stuff done! Anyone used it? I'll let you know if it works!
  12. It seems the victims have generally been minors but age goes up to 35 according to BBC report......relevant both Family Room and main section. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-42179833
  13. I don't see how the change makes any difference. Terroirs is pretty much the same set up as ToastED
  14. They are re-opening as Terroirs........which is also good
  15. Everyone knows you can't get a black cab to South London.....and even if you get lucky it's going to cost a fortune. I began using Addison Lee as they were safer for women- sending car reg details etc. Uber excelled Addison Lee in terms of convenience, safety and cost. Obviously I hope Uber can shape up in terms of TFL's requirements to make various improvements.
  16. I am very hopeful that Uber will do the necessary! I've chatted with many Uber drivers (as you do on a ride home, cue Peter Kay "been busy?")and haven't yet had one complain about working for Uber, they all say it works well for them. This includes a friend's husband who uses Uber work to subsidise his other income. Obviously I don't really know the ins and outs though and I would always support workers being treated fairly. Khan has got to be pretty confident on this one.
  17. I know, the news popped up on my phone. This is a disaster for me! I LOVE Uber.....half the time UberPool is hardly more than public transport. If Deliveroo gets cancelled in London as well then I'm leaving......
  18. Maybe set yourself up as the EDF online optician alice since you have remarkable skills in assessing someone's optical prescription without examination or eye test. Robert Poste's Child I would be really peed off (and also quite disabled until I could get a new pair) if this happened to me. alice Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There's an excellent local ?1 shop for glasses
  19. a) Being able to see is pretty important to most people b) Not everyone can easily afford to replace a pair of specs alice Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Calm down it's a pair of glasses annoying, yes > but hardly makes s library a hotbed of crime or a > remotely sensible place for a pc to be based.
  20. Life just isn't that black and white for most people Louisa. Some people will opt to eat meat but would also like to try to "do their bit" and make more ethical choices. It is very difficult to make informed choices about the welfare of an animal prior to slaughter and sometimes we are mislead/ misinformed. That doesn't mean people shouldn't TRY where they can..... and I see no problem with people feeling good about doing so. If information comes to light that a particular product isn't as ethical as thought then people can adjust their choices on that basis. This, of course, is also dependent on people's financial means. I like to re-cycle as much as possible. It makes me feel good that I'm TRYING to do my bit for the environment. I'm well aware that a lot doesn't actually get recycled but I hope times are changing. I also choose to give a bit here and there to charity. That doesn't make me a saint and I'm also well aware that charity money is sometimes mis spent.....but again, I feel good for trying. I would say it is better that people try to make little contributions to this world than not at all.....and I see nothing wrong with feeling good about that. If you choose not to do any of these things then that is up to you but why be so mean to people who try to make a difference in small ways? 21. Doing a quick google search to find an article that supports "opinion" does not make someone knowledgeable The question is whether a business has the welfare of the animal as priority, not necessarily the business Lots of positive reviews about Zippo
