Celtic and Aston Villa wear 1 star, Forest wear 2 stars - I'm confused now...
  2. Just for Atila - the Champions Cup with Green and White ribbons. 1967, a great year. http://www.celticprogrammesonline.com/PROGRAMME%20COVERS/lisbon/lisboninthesun.jpg[/img]
  3. Hello BBW No real stories I'm afraid - just a good time - a real good break with the kids. I'm afraid, we are into simple holidays in France, self catering/camping combinations, which the kids love. Does leave you drained though, lots of driving etc, putting up tents packing unpacking. KIds don't know there born these days. Having said that highlights of the holiday were all outside France: 1) Rip van Winkle winning Sussex Stakes :) 2) Celtic beating Dynamo Moscow :)-D 3) Celtic pulling a minnow in the Ch league play off draw B) 4) Matt123 posting about noone on the Celtic team getting a game for a premiership club - I've just seen that one and its mothers milk to me to see a post like that - let me at him. (!) What was the Taff boy drinking? I always thought him an intelligent lad until now.
  4. The thing with joch is that he has an old pair of boots that belonged to his grandfather Billy . Billys boots . Watch him go .
  5. Anyone who thinks little arsenal can topple mighty celtic knows very little about football. Celtic = 1 gold star Arsenal = 0 gold star
  6. Good hols quids I'm back tomorrow but hope you get some internet access while away don't you have it on your phone ? Anyway I'm looking forward to a few bets when back

  13. Sorry draw tomoz means another 24 hours worry for atila
  14. Midday today - atila perches in front of UEFA.com trembling at the thought of a nightmare draw and a trip to paradise for the wenger boys . Fear rushes through his veins at the thought of the teams who have crumbled in the terrifying atmosphere .
  15. Bring on the arsenal
  16. Why is arsenal the home of football atila ?
  17. Yeah we are wary of you city types round ere jules.
  18. I have to say I'm a bit suspicious of the opening post. Reads very strangely.
  19. If you read carefully the quote from Punch you will see it does not (as quoted in the OP at least) actually mention the Dulwich Taandoori so who knows if it was just cleverly used out of context.
  20. Reclan for a sty the best thing is a good rest. You should prob take a few long lie ins at your ungrateful employers expense and get yourself right also a trip to the opticians might be a good idea as sounds like your eyes are tired.no wives tales there I'm afraid. I did once have a growth on my finger when a lad and a seventh son of a seventh son fron derry wiped an old Copper 2p on it and it was gone a couple of days later which amazed me as I felt it had been there for a year. .

Sherwick - just arrived at fouras today. Camping here following your recommendation.just had time to put up tent before torrential rain arrived. But seems lovely here. Staying independent campsite and will check out the oyster bay coastline tomoz. Looks good though despite todays weather so thanks for the recommendation. Mick..

    Redundancy

I really don't know what I would do in your situation declan. If I were in London I'd like to take you for a beer. I think you could do worse than making it along to the forum drinks next week. It might be a good idea to state what you do on this thread you never know some well connected forumite might come across something suitable.good luck with your search for employment and hopefully you will look back on this in a few years as a blip. Good luck friend.

  25. What went wrong quids? Did you really lay rip van winkle?or was it something else? I just don't see the fun in laying the whole fun for me is to get the odd decent win now and again which puts everything right.as you said to me once 10 profitable laid bets can all go in one losing lay. However in a big handicap that is probably a good time to lay most of the field. As a backer I find big handicaps are the ones to avoid.anyone know when Rip is running next I want to chase the dragon.
