  1. Not sure they are both available at the mo.
  2. Whao - well I'm completely naive - what century are we talking here?
  3. Oh there you are! Well I'm pennyless and its all your fault.....! I needed binoculars to see that bloody horse, he was so far behind. Jees.
  4. I would vote for Tony Blair (and did) I would not vote for Gordon Brown (not convincing, too left wing maybe) I would not vote Tory (I remember Thatchers Britain) Next time I will probably abstain.
  5. No - I don't know - Are you hosting antiques roadshow?
  6. Look guys - she can see but she can't read. So please stop typing messages for her.
  7. You don't mean that Sandperson. You will win it (and the league). Congrats already, hey I'm that confident.
  8. Ok Red Devil -the punters friend - we should listen to you. I'm about to start tomorrows research now (now that Mrs M has finished on the family laptop) and I'll check out the above first. Were you a net winner today? Hope you were. But Cheltenham is the toughest betting week of the year with so many good horses, but you have just got to join in. My (now wealthy) friend pointed out that Mc Grath on the front of the Telegraph sport section napped Punjabi today, hence so many people being on it. I bought the Telegraph, but as I had my bets on already I did not get round to reading it (oh dear).
  9. What a load of rubbish. And to make matters worse a "friend" had ?30 each way on punjabi at 28/1
  10. Mark - if you want 11/1 take the price - if you take sp this is starting price, being the price at the start of the race - which may be different.
  11. Go Native wins the 1.30
  12. Not long now Cousin Vinny, brace yourself horsey.
  13. More bad news. A police man shot dead tonight.
  14. Suffer little children - Tears for Fears
  15. Ive done the following for tomorrow 1.30 Cousin Vinny @ 3/1 win 3.20 Binocular (DMs secret tip) @ 7/4 win and Sentry Duty each way (my own research) @ 25/1.
  16. I don't think the odds have changed. It seems to be eveyone's banker. Anyway I'll be at work tomorrow so probably won't bet on that race as won't be able to see it, but good luck. Any tips for Friday's races much appreciated (apart from Gold Cup, I already know who's going to win that one).

MR - you will never experience the crowd's mightyroar from doing a crossword.
  18. Thats a hot tip DM. Your contact has been keeping that one close to his chest. And there I was waiting patiently by the computer since 3 March, when you promised us a "tip". ;-)
  19. ok cheers jimbob. This was price wise suggestions so i thought i would post it up. I heard the radio 5 preview tonight and they are recommending 1) cousin vinny and 2) kasbah bliss world hurdle
  20. :)-Dsnorky, cheers.
  21. Please don't make assumptions about my socio economic capabilities and I have all the plasma tvs I need thanks. The thread was just a bit of fun.
  22. Which would fetch a better price, the blonde or the redhead. The redhead's a worker.
  23. PRICEWISE RECAP PRICEWISE FESTIVAL ANTE-POST PORTFOLIO Missed Tom Segal's selections? Fear not. Tuesday at Cheltenham: Celestial Halo Champion Hurdle 1pt ew 14-1 (now 8-1) Kempes Supreme Novices' Hurdle 1pt win 33-1 (now 12-1) Planet Of Sound Arkle, 2pts win 16-1 (now 10-1)
  24. Red Devil I'm not sure but would have thought you would not get anything back. This presumably only happens when the banks are valueless - hence you would already have lost your money as the bank would, without Govt support, have gone out of business.
  25. Sorry Woof Thanks for the serious points made - all very interesting and no I have not read "freakonomics" but will have a look out for it. Who knows, if we have a third child I may need to go back and read this thread again at some point.
