  1. Thanksa Mocha Mary.
  2. I'm limbering up too - right arm stretching exercises for day in pub watching Irelands stroll towards grand slam....thats enough activity for me today. Tracksuit and spanx not required.
  3. Frank Sinclair?
  4. Frank Sinclair?
  5. I'm with SP - he follows the best team in England, who have consistently delivered the most entertaining attacking football year on year - who would want to support anyone else.

Did it nip round you Michael with a gallic sidestep and show you a clean pair of frogs legs as it dived over the double yellow line for a try. Fancy a frog at an Italian restaurant.
  7. I moved to ED, Heber Road, in 2001 and the pub although closed was still the same as it looks in the photo from all_star above. I think it was converted to flats shortly after that, maybe 2002. Great shame as it would be nice to have a pub on the same road as you live on. My then neighbour "Pete" said he used to run the pool team there before it shut, but he was a man of poor personal hygiene, so hope he was not typical of their clientele.
  8. EDT or CPT prob, and for both you should get there early. Or the Vale good too.
  9. MU 3 - Spurs 1 (although would be good to see Spurs win)
  10. Changes have been made and tomorrow will be "moving day" for me, to quote golfing terminology. Sackey, Heymans and Williams drafted into back line. Worslely into the front line.

  12. United will do a league and champions league double. I don't believe they will struggle in the second leg, I think they gave Inter a lesson in the first half in Italy that they will not have properly recovered from, to be treated like that at home is humiliating, and they will get a full 90 mins of that in Manchester. I don't think Sir Alex will allow Jose to do a "Porto" on him again. MU are in my opinion the best team in europe this year, they just have to prove it by winning the trophy.
  13. Can't make the Herne tomorrow David - going out for a meal and will record the game. Alles les bleus....enjoy.
  14. DPF - if they are too difficult people will google them, if not so difficult then people might actually know them - like a sporting pub quiz, better fun I think.
  15. Watching the David Attenborough nature programme last night, David Attenborough mentioned the desert wild cats. At which point my 6yo daughter shouted at the TV : "Wild Cats, Wild Cats, get your head in the game!" Thats the chant from High School Musical for those who are not "in the know"...
  16. ah, good spot declan.does not make it any easier to answer though.
  17. 119 people have read this post and not a single sighting to date.
  18. Just using the old FA Cup exit cliche (usually reserved for stronger teams I guess)
  19. Used to borrow my Dad's old spice - first girlfriend thought it was nice until I told her what it was and then she bought me Jazz, i thought I smelt real good then.
  20. Just saw the Lynx advert on tv - have always liked their adverts but who uses this stuff? I'm a bit old/mature for that sort of spray deodorant / anti perspirant combo stuff now, but they have always had funny adverts - the current one with the Man Leather concept is pretty funny too - but who buys it? Forumites in their 20s? Or is it too naf for ED? (I did buy it in my 20s) Release the Man Leather
  21. Bad luck quids - concentrating on winning the premiership I guess. You don't want to do too well otherwise Chelski will come sniffing round your management team, so every cloud has a silver lining.
  22. Clinton Morrison has been rubbish for years....for someone like him to get any international caps is outrageous. SKY BET SLASH ODDS FROM 10/1 TO 3/1 ON DALGLISH TO TAKE OVER FROM RAFA - SOMETHING IS UUUP...
  23. Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'm still totally bemused as to how they can be > opening a store when they've been taken over by > the Co-op. > > :-$ The two chains can still keep their separate identities Sue - Coop may pull the strings but they will keep the "good" name of Somerfiled in their locker as they have paid for the goodwill.
  24. If that's the house you went to see with your sister, then I'd be a "no" if you are canvassing local opinion. She could do better, even if she is a more easy going person than you Louisa, she would get stressed with all the customers, and the late night drop box would keep her awake, for sure.
  25. My wife knows the Kijama technique - makes it take a lot longer to go down.
