  3. It's an interesting point made that perhaps starting the dotted line earlier might help. Is this a standard length does anyone know? And to the OP - I'd be terrified to ride a 50cc that can barely reach 20 up there in London or indeed anywhere; not sure if I should respect your courage or suggest getting a new bike...

  6. (A girl at work had it and her insurance went up.) For my part I struggle with the concept a bit to be honest on how the device actually works. Bad driving causes accidents, poor observation does, lots of things I can't see how the box can track.

Great stuff.
  8. Do they sell popcorn in M&S?
  9. Just read a piece on the pitchero site about stewards - what's the background on this? http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/dulwichhamlet/news/stewarding-changes-1670379.html
  10. Is it OK wired to the router? In other words is this a broadband problem, or a wireless problem..?
  11. I'd also bounce it around a lot so the alarm goes off and see if that prompts anyone to come and move it.
  12. Car wheel covers / hub caps held on with cable ties.
  13. Not necessarily, other new build guarantees are available. I'd be interested to know if they're compulsory though.
  14. That'll be Test Dept / Einsturzende Neubauten / SPK rehearsing.

  16. That's right. Everyone knows that one.
  17. The thread that keeps on giving..
  18. If you're looking for mud then put Maldon on your list.
  19. The recent innovation of answering an awkward question with "I don't recognise" those figures / that viewpoint etc. It's the political equivalent of "la la la I can't hear you".

I had one stolen years ago which turned up in Bexleyheath, the only damage was to the ignition, and similar to you the insurance had already paid out. This means it's their bike, although the police let you know as you're on the log book presumably. You could offer to buy it back from them I guess if you want (at a very reduced price). I did that before on (another) stolen and damaged bike and got it for virtually nothing as it was a cosmetic write off. As far as finding out who nicked it I've had 3 stolen over the years, all found, and no idea on who took any of them.
  21. Not the first time it's failed there.

For the avoidance of doubt, it's the expression which causes my rage, not the actual lottery.
  23. Nothing wrong with bog standard - tick the boxes and get out of the way.
