  1. Aha! I'd been wondering about that empty sign..
  2. It's looks fine to me.
  3. Ncie kit, although I kinda miss the quarters.
  4. Try speeding past it or going through a red light, when you get the ticket you'll find out. They're all there for pretty much the same purpose, to catch people who break the rules. Why do you need to know which rule it's there for?
  5. Train to London Bridge then Jubilee to Baker Street, change to Bakerloo there for Paddington. Easy change walk across platforms with no stairs.
  6. Not sure how they could Sue, it's their error.
  7. Another pub's not impossible, types of business often clump together. Unlikely but not impossible.. Anyway, how has a strobe light got involved?

To say "you will have to" may have been true in your experience but there are other routes.
  9. Try it with broken things, they'll go just as quick!
  10. I'm not clear. Is the car on private land between the garage and the road, or on the road? As Otta says, if on the road is there a dropped kerb they're parked across? You suggest it's on your own property...
  11. In my experience leaving small electrical things outside by the pavement results in them being taken away within a couple of hours.

  14. I'm waiting for people renting privately having the right to buy their home at hugely discounted prices, seems fair.

I believe that's way out of his ward, it might even be Lewisham and not even Southwark... The poor guy isn't omnipotent.
  16. Is that a 20?
  17. OKR back to nightmare this morning. Can't wait for tomorrow with the tube strike.
  18. You asked for appeals advice and I gave it - I don't think you'll win, save your money. Others have appealed on the same junction and lost. The the rules are clear on yellow boxes and you broke them, and the sign is there on the no left turn. What did you hope to hear?
  19. Seriously fazer71, calm down. Go on a break.
  20. OKR OK this morning. Although Great Dover Street was solid instead..

Because planes tend to take off and land into the prevailing wind which is generally from the west. On take off it's free speed effectively for lift, and on landing it helps slow down.
  22. I just went for the Reading Friday nights in the second half of the 80's. Iggy Pop, The Ramones, and The Godfathers was a good night. It wasn't sure it was at the time, not Rock for sure. http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/reading-88.html
  23. And OKR is just as bad. This better be worth it.

I see what you mean re the sign, but the traffic lights have a clear straight on only arrow on them. For you to turn left the left one had to be visible. Save your money.
  25. I'm not clear how a lorry can stop you seeing if your exit is clear?
