And "Monkey puzzles are extremely slow growing, or at least very slow to get going - for a (very) long time this will probably not have seemed a problem" from someone else. Be careful where you sow your seeds people..
  2. I doubt the Patch will be makign any kind of noise in the near future as it's staggering on it's last legs. As for what comes after, who knows?
  3. Periodically I throw all my socks away, then buy a load of identical pairs of black, and a few identical pairs of blue. Sorted.
  4. I imagine they do this kind of thing to wind up the locals, then hang around local forums to see if anyone bites.
  5. The actual Hob is OK before you go upstairs for the show. There's also a place opposite the Wetherspoons which looks OK although I've not been myself.
  6. Bagpipes. Next!
  7. Didn't they use to make tellies?
  8. For electrical stuff I go to the place opposite Penge homebase. Friendly guys and great range. View Larger Map
  9. I know the junction. I'm not sure how you can be trapped if you don't enter the box until the exit is clear?

Although I believe there may have been massive culls of posts on both. Also SE1 is more than just the forum.
  11. Websites which, when you ask for a password reminder, send a password reset link.
  12. I like the bee, a symbol of hard work where I'm from. And I'd rather buildings where bright or patterned or anything which provokes a reaction. Better than 'meh' surely? I don't like the yellow much but better than beige.
  13. The offers email is just another Groupon clone.
  14. Is there not an alternate conclusion that maybe you changed while you were away? Given the number of people on here who seem to disagree with you could that be a possibility?
  15. U2 using images of The Ramones in their ad.
  16. The Tardis operates in many dimensions, the door only limits those who operate in our normal everyday three.

  19. I didn't make it but well done all, can't imagine how long it would take to get a pint. Will go to Fisher tomorrow instead!

I think the underlying meaning of the last sentence is it could work if cyclists choose to make it work. Dawdle is quite a loaded word - "go at a considered pace bearing in mind the greater good" might be an alternative?
  21. I spent the last couple of days in Utrecht where they have two way lanes much like this and many, many more cyclists. I saw no problems at all with them.
  22. How big are the screens in number of seats?

  24. We have all our music on a Vortexbox - http://www.vortexbox.co.uk/ - wired to the router, then squeezeboxes around the house athough I think the Vortexbox will work with most things through DLNA. Works great.
