If anything, what you are implying is thus > that not being bothered by the aircraft noise is > the equivalent of not being bothered by the > holocaust. And if you think that... Well put. I'm with you in that it doesn't annoy me as I said a few pages ago whilst also accepting that fazer71's perception is their reality, just like mine. fazer71, please read this and stop steaming in to people, it's not helping anyone.

  4. Perception is reality so fazer, I get this is real for you. Just get that it's not a thing for others rather than just denying it possibly could be.
  5. Agreed it was better before it changed hands but they've never damaged my car. What did they do?

This confused me.. there are trains at 0731, 0742, 0750, 0759, 0812, 0821 according to http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timesandfares/FOH/LBG/tomorrow/0730/dep#outwardJump , and that's in addition to all the Overgrounds.. Maybe we have different peak times? I think that's pretty good, no?
  12. I thought you got points for these too, it's not like they're difficult to see is it?

  18. Amazing how the removal of one person can change the whole feeling of a pub, along with clearly a few quid and a lot of effort. So far it's all good.
  19. May well pop in on the way to the Hamlet tomorrow lunch having walked past the place for the last 5-6 years on the same journey.

  21. I guess charity shops are driven by what people donate, and there was a piece in The Guardian today mentioning this which may be relevant - "The rise of discounters such as Aldi, Lidl and Primark has played a role in both factors. Not only have they increased competition for charity shops, but the growing popularity of cut-price clothing means the quality of the garments in people?s wardrobes is not what it was. So, when a household clears out its wardrobes, unwanted clothing is more likely to go in the bin than be taken to the charity shop. Oxfam said that donations fell by 2% last year." 24. Two grand? Now that's comedy.
  25. Why would the gas meter need moving? I would have thought it could co-exist with a fridge and freezer happily enough.
