  1. Just to say Tim Peake's craft is NOT on show in London at present - it has moved north for a bit. However, you can go and view the awe-inspiring engineering model of BepiColumbo! https://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/see-and-do/mission-mercury-bepi-colombo And of course the Apollo 10 command module if you're into all things space(y). 2. Great! Thanks for update.
  3. It?s outdoors ... There are rats .... and wildlife in general (thank goodness). If people are surprised by that then dear god they need to get out more. HP
  4. Hi all. I?ve not got a brown bin but want to put out a few big bags of tree / plant clippings. Anyone know where I can get bags the council will collect on collection day? Can?t find anything on council website. Cheers HP
  5. Signed
  6. Don?t think it will - local kids. Most bus to current site.
  7. Where are you living? You're only likely to get into the ones really near you.
  8. Anyone know why trains will now take longer from nunhead to Victoria?? HP

  12. Seconding all the positives above (son currently in year 8). There will be many on the waiting list wishing they were in your shoes. HP Hasty reply - edited to add staff lovely, current intake of pupils in years 7 and 8 lovely, teaching really thoughtful and imaginative and set to teach them more broadly and i a questioning fashion as has been said above, staff very open, inspirational and responsive to emails. Soon to be in a lovely new building which has the advantages of being planned from scratch.
  13. Hi Ashley. Good of you to update. Hope she?s doing OK! HP
  14. Really sorry to hear this. Any update? Has she been reported as a missing person with the police? HP
  15. Shit loads of bees - honey and bumble/ over here in nunhead. Difficulty is trying to stop my cat catching the poor things. HP

Buggie you have misinterpreted.
  17. Ignore Elphonstone?s army. Well done for challenging their cruel behaviour! Dangerous too, HP
  18. Malumbu - having paid attention to recent posts I?m getting the impression you?re a glass half empty type? Seriously worried about your blood pressure. Sending you some calm and positivity :) in lieu of therapeutic (?) forum ranting. HP
  19. At least our replies have given you another outlet to vent, and let off steam. Oh sorry - that?s kettles, not teapots.
  20. But the issue was what to do about these which ARE time limited. So best advice - next time check to see if/ when they expire. Personally I have some that do / some that don?t. Yes I check them. You?ve asked the shop and escalated. Not really sure what you expect forumites to do that?s more ?useful?. HP
  21. If it?s out of date it?s out of date. Agreee about the Sainsbury?s ones. So little time to use - cynical. If it?s been left too late, voucher run out and extension refused gotta suck it up. Suppose you could try escalating. Is it worth getting angry/ stressed about? HP
  22. Not a trayful lol. But you can scoop out the solids and clumped wee from the flushable (and biodegradable) litter and flush them. delightful...
  23. You can get flushable litter too. But more money but eco friendly and less aggro. Hp
