  1. Yep. No. No. No. Yep. Yep...Yep...Yep (but thank God NO!)...and Yep.
  2. Well, you remind me of an ex-work colleague who could make a Yorkie Bar last an entire week. I'm sorry, but that is simply not normal...it's positively freakish behaviour in my book! *flies away, but not without poo-ing on DJKQ's head first*
  3. Weather looks good for Sunday.
  4. Oh God...SUCH discipline...I could never make it that far in advance...it would be gone long before Sunday. Are you some kind of freak? LOL
  5. Well I happen to know that Mazza675328 LOVES cheese. So I have today bought from my corner shop (Sainsburys) some Camembert, Brie, Stilton, Cheddar, Double Gloucester with spring onion and chives, Wensleydale with Cranberries, and some Red Leicester to be munched with 2 types of posh biscuits (sweet chilli and rosemary/seasalt). Yum. Have dispensed with the fruit. I'll pack a bottle of Statins. Oh, and the coiyderr...naturally. Your Majesty...don't forget to make the coconut fudge...mmmm...double-yum.
  6. So you are happy.
  7. Exactly...the happiest are the Tory voters. MitchK, you happy? LOL

But farming fish creates its own set of problems for the environment. There is a great deal of waste in fishing...e.g. where fishermen aim to catch one type of fish but end up catching a host of other (good) stuff only to then throw the unwanted catch (now dead) back into the sea.
  9. Yes, that was my point...(albeit a bit too brief)
  10. MitchK Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The Guardian, of course, urged its readers to vote > Lib Dem so they should be happy with the > government, surely. Well, most LD voters I know are NOT happy with the government - so there! Ner... In fact most people I know (irrespective of the party they voted for) are not happy with the government...
  11. *in fits of laughter* MitchK dear Comrade, your facetiousness/flippancy is completely forgiven...you are too, too funny. As a reward for your unique style of entertainment, I have today ordered you a nice new T-shirt from the Politburo - no less. *in stitches* TO ARMS... Nice to see Caroline Lucas there too...
  12. Only it's not really funny though - is it? But yes...funny in the sense...

I saw that film at the Ritzy last year (or was it this year?)...the various shots of the scarlet blood-stained beach were quite stomach churning. Edits due to sleep deprivation:-S

Tell me about it! Many middle income earners are being hit pretty hard at present - our household has been significantly affected - as have many of my neighbours'. The future doesn't exactly look rosy either. *sticks head in sand*
  15. Halved? That's a pretty startling statistic. Anyway...posted this on another thread, but applies equally here.

Margaret Thatcher's Right to Buy scheme (enforceable through legislation) was a massive error of judgement (IMO). That policy is a major contributing factor to the low levels of council housing stock today.
  18. So, is another financial crisis looming? According to Aditya Chakrabortty of The Guardian, it could well be.

Is Vauxhall Cross an utter > nightmare? Hello DC...I commuted to just short of Victoria (Pimlico) for around 3.5 years - took me just under 20 mins (whereas bus could take over an hour on a bad day). Can be a nightmare if not used to it. Why don't you take advantage of Southwark's free assertive cycling instruction before the cuts start to bite? You can arrange for the instructor to show you the best route to work - and it really won't cost you a bean. I posted the link before, but it won't hurt to post it again. Enjoy! (Should be a doddle for someone with calves of steel!).
  20. Hey KK...xxxxxxxxxxx and hugs to you too LOL!
  21. *bursts out laughing* OK, OK! I shall PM you now - now you've done it!!!!:))
  22. Big fat XXXX back to you lil bro. Hugs too.
  23. 100
  24. Loz, do you live near Ratty? If you do - we've probably bumped into each other. *thinks Gawd*
