  1. Buy some lions poo from london zoo and scatter it around your house. Apparently it works... No seriously do what Steveo said.
  2. I'm a scientologist. And for a generous donation of your wealth you could be too. Scientology is the way to go.
  3. Just saw Amy at the picturehouse and it was packed. I can't remember the last time I went to see a film and it was that busy. That's why Amy is still on. Very sad and thought provoking.

  5. That's terrible. If you have a wooden door a London Bar is a really good way to reinforce the lock. They're not expensive and make a huge improvement to securing wooden doors.
  6. My first ever curry. I invited my girlfriend at the time over for s curry. I ordered a balti and it was the spiciest curry I'd ever had. I had about 4 mouthfuls and had to give up. We didn't stay together very long!

    a joke

A man was home alone when suddenly there was a knock at the door. When he opened the door it was the police. The police held out a photo of his wife and said, "Sir, can you confirm is this your wife?" The man said "Yes it is. Is everything ok?" The police still holding the photo say, "I'm afraid it looks like she's been hit by a bus" The man says, "Yeah I know but she's great with the kids and good in the kitchen!"
  8. Well I hope it's still on next week because I really want to see it now!!

How many Vietnam War veterans does it take to screw in a lightbulb? YOU HAVE TO BE THERE TO KNOW MAN!!
  10. Grim - reminds me of the EDT a while back, they had some serious plumbing issues in the gents, looks like they sorted it out now though I think.
  11. Since the 20mph limit came into place along Sydenham Hill I have seen some seriously dangerous driving. The other day some nut job over took me and the 2 cars in front of me whilst approaching a bend! The guy at the front driving at 18-20mph was clearly a pillock but that's not the point. As frustrating as it is when you have a stickler in front of you, you've just got to sit behind them and try not to get distracted, angry or fall asleep behind the wheel. ps - I'm in favour of the 20 mph limit on certain roads but a bit of common sense wouldn't go amiss.
  12. Well I had no idea there were so many different spoons out there.
  13. A grapefruit spoon?! There is a spoon specifically for grapefruit? I've heard it all now...

Burglars don't want to get caught so if they think an alarm might go off they will usually think twice about breaking in. Having an alarm is a visual deterrent. Also if they are still stupid enough to break into a house and an alarm goes off they will not usually want to stick around in case it's monitored. Also people should think twice before getting an installation with ADT. They do a cheap installation but then it's a 3 year fixed contract with monthly payments and as far as I'm aware you don't actually own the equipment...
  15. When fresh it's really nice. I used to always get rock when I was a kid. I guess not many people order it these days. It had probably been sat in the fridge for a week before it hit the fryer. Shame as it's put me off getting rock again.
  16. I thought Fish chips and more were generally ok. Although I recently bought Rock and Chips for a change. The Rock smelled of ammonia! I googled it and apparently when fish is not fresh and starts to go off it smells of ammonia. I ate a bit of it. I couldn't be arsed to drive back and swap it for haddock. It was pretty grim.
  17. Yeah it was great this year. I have also been a bit dissapointed with the jerk chicken in the past, I tried Mac n cheese this year then later on chicken meatball in a Thai green sauce. That was really good! My girlfriend had some sort of hummus salad thing which was nice but quite expensive. I love the Lambeth Country Fair, good vibes, entertainment, animals and reggae.
  18. There's always a pretty decent choice of food. I normally go for Jerk chicken but may try something different today. What's your favourite? Any recommendations or disappointments?
  19. Happy Flying Ants Day everyone! Hope you have all had a great day...
  20. I went to Cheddar Gorge recently, nice walking, a few pubs, amazing views.
