    Alcohol

Anna I answered no to all your questions. Does that mean I should start to drink more?

    Alcohol

Bloody hell! I go out to the pub for lunch and you lot manage a page and a half of posts on alcohol. Don?t you know it?s Friday afternoon and you should be drinking man!
  3. 12 quid for a drink that has the same effect as running full-tilt into a lamp post! I?ll have 2 please.
  4. I watched The Nines last weekend. Anyone seen it? Opinions? I loved it by the way. One of those films that gets you asking questions about what reality really is.

  6. Ok not strictly hip-hop at all but this wins 10 out of 10 in the cool stakes for being inspired by The Naked Lunch
  7. Word! My tweed clad hommie.
  8. Always prefered this version http://youtube.com/watch?v=NoLkaGcpJFA&feature=related
  9. I daresay that negotiating with your employer for a higher rate of pay is probably some of the most valuable life experience one can get.
  10. Ok back on topic. The Black Cherry and the other bars on the lower part of Lordship Lane are doing good business at the moment especially as they are attracting crowds from outside of the local area. This may or may not be because ED locals find it very difficult to take anything seriously and are too busy playing silly nonsensical games and/or cramming themselves into the Gowlett in the hope of seeing the muff.
  11. You need adrenochrome MW.
  12. The most use I?ve got out of our SatNav is entering my post code and then following the directions around the house on the office chair. ?Working from home? they call it.

  14. I don?t know if it is real stuff or just a crazed creation of Hunter S Thompson?s kamikaze imagination.
  15. So there's a fit bird who used to live in Herne Hill and drink in the Dog. Good to know I suppose.
  16. Apart from Keith Richards, Eddie Izzard and Cameron Diaz I have absolutely no clue who any of the people mentioned on this thread are. :-S
  17. Only under Trumpington's Variations' James.
  18. It must have been a shock when colour photography was invented and everyone realised it was yellow.
  19. Of course, except under the Penge convention, obviously.
  20. Trumpington's is best avoided at the moment. I would wait until the hearing is over and the tribunal has made a proper decision on the use of cohesive variants.
  21. Anything else you want a completely credible explanation for, I?m your man.

I tend to buy my work clothes from them. I?m 6ft1 and I have to buy Small sizes to get clothes that fit. Plus I have a beer belly. :-S
  23. I think the talking 176 is an attempt to solve the problem. You see they used to just get off the bus anywhere and wander around aimlessly bumping into things. Now it tells them where they are and where the bus is going. The problem is that Goose Green is in fact 3rd generation Pengelian rhyming slang for home(derived from the 17th century pensgrenne). So there is some confusion occurring and Black Cherry is cashing in.
  24. Sorry *Bob* did I say our? I meant my. Cripes people will be selling them on ebay next. :-S
  25. I may just scoot over there for lunch one of these days. I've not had good Mexican food in a while. Hmmm... Perhaps I need to fabricate a "meeting" tomorrow afternoon. Something poetic I think.
