  1. ooh wooh hooh hoooh.....
  2. I think the next time you decide to dig something up you should use your hands instead of a spade as spades are artificial and clearly non-organic.
  3. I agree with Keef there. I like El Pasco too. It is wonderfully cheesy and does what it says on the tin. They even let me wear one of their sombreros once. Although the upstairs does look like a Tijuanan brothel.
  4. I think Bob must be referring to Hillbilly rather than Cajun so is a few hundred miles off to the North East of where I was referring to. But his holidays in the old US of A sound interesting. Anyway I?m going off topic. Go upstairs at The Charndellier and you will see what I mean.
  5. A restructure of management consultants?
  6. I went in for the first time yesterday and I can see why the upstairs should be child free as it looks, IMO, distinctly like a Cajun brothel. Anyway there were plenty of little people downstairs. One who was in particularly good voice. The loud screaming was a bit abrasive but a much more appropriate response to the state of the world than the rubbish that comes out of the mouths of many adults. Mrs B doesn?t share my opinion re. the Cajun brothel thing but then she doesn?t share my opinion that leaving a pair of socks on the floor is artistic realism.
  7. Both the Bishop and EDT do get rather packed on a Friday so unless we could secure a reserved area. I think Alan has a good idea there.
  8. The white Ferrari Testarossa was an eighties icon. Only to be driven whilst wearing a white suit with the sleeves rolled up, a pair of aviators and sporting a mullet. On the subject of estate agents in general and Foxton?s in particular (don?t believe I?m getting roped into this again); I just don?t like the bolshie, arrogant (backed up by little substance) way in which they do business. It is unfortunately the way many businesses operate and is seen as an acceptable strategy to get ?ahead in this world?. Anyone with a personal philosophy based on honesty and integrity (which in my experience is happily more of the population than one sometimes thinks) can?t possibly like them.
  9. Hi my name is Brendan and I?ve always thought I was completely in control of my online activities but lately I?ve started posting inane rubbish like this early on Sunday mornings.

(behave at the back!) > *titters* Sorry but my sense of humour stopped developing when I was 3. I?ve not been in the EDT for a while but in my experience the Guinness has always been good.
  11. Woolwich Arsenal
  12. Cake? Cake!? I had a lovely evening but I don?t? remember any cake. :( Although I did leave a bit early. Thanks everyone it was good seeing you all and meeting some more of the faces behind the names. And thank you for organising it Mark!
  13. Marino Sheep to Shepherds Bush.
  14. I like a Journey of Giraffes and a Parliament of Owls. Which would be more fitting? David Attenborough outside Foxton?s windows last night, dressed in jeans, t-shirt, pin-stripe jacket and thick framed glasses to blend into the scenery, giving a commentary of the events inside in his trademark hushed tones. ?And as you can see the bonding ritual is well under way. At first it looks like a random meeting with no apparent purpose or structure but after watching for a while the subtle power struggles within the group become apparent. Note how the alpha males show their seniority by displaying the size and colour of their cuff-links.? Or Steve Irwin, khakied up and popping his head out from behind the bus shelter outside the window. ?Look at that! I?ve never seen so many in one place before!? ?Now if you look there at the edge of the group leaning against the counter! That?s the most dangerous estate agent known to man! The young, ambitious, female! She a beauty isn?t she?! Pwoah! Crikey! Look at those!? ?Don?t be fooled though! Those nails are razor sharp and have been known to rip a man?s knackers clean off! I?ll wait out here until she?s more relaxed and then I?ll jump on her!? [ps. That last bit is not overused punctuation. Steve Irwin did in fact end every sentence he ever spoke with an exclamation mark.]
  15. Sports amendment carried forward to next game as per rule 37. Fulham Broadway

  19. I have just gone past Foxton?s and the place is full of them having what looks like a party. What would one call it in a David Attenborough style documentary?
  20. Nope. I tried but work interfered
  21. Ha ha ha. I don't believe you just did that. Mornington Crescent. and that makes it hometime. See you at the drinks tonight. .

  23. Arnos Grove to Bounds Green ? bound to Green park - dangerous after dark ? Dark at seven ? 197 ? Peckham ? Peckahm Rye - Kilburn High. Invoking the little known 8 jump pony first used when the Royal Institution of Bingo Callers played the Racing Commentators Guild.
  24. Resolution 1265. Also know as the Penge agreement because of the location of its signing. It is an independent principality as we all know. I counter with Roding Valley
