  1. Place Monge, sounds like a pudding, a trifle or an eclair. Grove Lane
  2. North Sheen
  3. That's just disgusting. *Sorms off in a huff*
  4. *nods*
  5. I think the precedent for the 1993 edition was set back in ?79 but as I have only made one move I am, at this stage of the game, still barred from passing judgment on digests of any form.
  6. I don't think anyone actually dislikes her. It?s all just banter innit.
  7. I say! Sorry to disturb your little swapsies party here but. Perivale
  8. I'm cracking my knuckles as we speak. ?or is that as I type. :-S ?which would be a neat trick.
  9. Ah, you see I very rarely listen to the radio. And with good reason apparently. This reeks of anarchy and absurdity, notions I find as useless as sarcasm.
  10. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the blerry hell that other thread is all about? Or am I just stupid?
  11. Good access to Methadone and needle exchange services.
  12. Thank you Keef. I was just about to put a good word in for my fellow countrywoman but you did it for me.
  13. So does the inability of its residents to stick to the topic at hand count for or against?
  14. I know what you mean Keef. The fact that on a night (or day) out down Lordship Lane you tend to pass 1 or 2 people that you are acquainted with. No offence meant Alan. I was of course being sarcastic but didn?t mean it in a caustic way.
  15. Those who enjoyed this debate will probably enjoy the following article from the Guardian: http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/science/2007/09/religion_advances_despite_scie.html
  16. I quite like some of the buildings ie: The Library The Lloyds tsb building (across from the Plough) The Plough St Thomas Moore church The other church at the top of Barry Road. Both the Primary Schools in the Barry Road area: Goodrich and the other one and others in the area of similar style. Some great houses along Barry Road, Peckham Rye, the Gardens The Clock House
  17. Sorry. Please pay no attention to me. I?m being facetious.
  18. Who told you about the place I work?
  19. Indeed it is Sir Arthur. You can fashion a very usable wheelie bin from 3 sturdy pvc pipes and the inner band from an old flat cap Annasfield.
  20. Well there is no one booked at Brixton on the Friday or Saturday so they are leaving it open as a possibility. Friday or Saturday would be better. How glaringly un-punk is that? I am worried about having to go to work the next day with a hangover.
  21. Bah! I?ll not believe it. I remember the pub on the corner opposite Southwark station (the Ring? I think it?s called) and then the Windmill further down and the tappas place on the other side of the road. I am highly suspicious about the existence of this Anchor and Hope place though.
  22. I?ve just looked up The Anchor and Hope. Has it always been there? Or was it called something else before? I?m just asking as 4 years back I used to work in the area and walked down the Cut every day and I don?t remember it. Or is my memory just going?
