  1. The leak is in the same place as before, at the junction of LL and Overhill Road.
  2. What a fantastic find on YouTube. My mother would have played in Ruskin Park during that era.
  3. Most if not all the stations on the SLL have seen an increase in usage not surprisingly since the Overground replaced the Southern service to London Bridge/Victoria. Clapham High Street now has over a million users per year, during the old SLL service, it was under 500,000, while Peckham Rye has over 4.5m. This doesn't come as a surprise to me considering the rise in passenger usage on the Sydenham line since 2010.
  4. As part of the revamp of the Peckham walk-in centre, your local GP surgery can refer you to Peckham for a same day appointment if there's no appointments at your surgery. I doubt the claim about no appointments at any surgery is rubbish. Cancellations and emergency slots can be found, but it's down to poor admin at the end of the day. DMC for example.

EE will also be soon offering a tv package which is delivered over the internet using a set-top box. BT and TalkTalk also offer similar.

  7. At least you had VM installed. When I booked an install, they couldn't get into the cabinet which is situated inside a locked room which is owned by Southwark Council. Ended up using the much criticised TalkTalk instead which uses BT's Openreach network and not had any downtime.

The catchment areas for most of the SE22 surgeries also include parts of SE5, SE15, SE23, SE24 and SE26, so isn't full representative of all of ED's residents. Forest Hill Road surgery is on the edge of Honor Oak, so will attract residents who live in SE23.
  9. Believe it or not, despite the large amount of patients on it's books, DMC doesn't have as many as the Forest Hill Road Group Practice. Forest Hill Road - 12,620 DMC - 10,564. Source: NHS Choices.
  10. It doesn't appear to be affecting TalkTalk's ADSL2 I'm on as they use a LLU (local loop unbundling) where they've got their own infrastructure at the BT exchange.
  11. Today's Dulwich & Herne Hill edition of the Southwark News has an expose of one in three Southwark surgeries are putting patients at risk. DMC is the second worst surgery in the borough in the Band 1/Elevated Risk category.
  12. 306 Medical Centre had it's CQC report in July which met the required standards. http://www.306medicalcentre.nhs.uk/website/G85091/files/INS1-495559267_1-493951095_Dr_Mahreen_Chawdhery_20140203_Inspection_Report.pdf I would say that since the Dulwich Hospital surgery closed, 306 is busier at all times, yet my mother went in on Monday and was able to get an appointment for Tuesday morning.
  13. Are all of you down the Underhill Road end of Overhill? The Dawsons end is closer to the exchange and should be better than this.
  14. I use TalkTalk with Sky's Now TV internet tv package through my tv which streams Sky channels. On a Sunday evening, Sky1 will stop intermittently from time to time. It can be down to server capacity issues at Sky rather than TalkTalk where people are all trying to watch the same programmes online.
  15. Considering Labour's candidate Helen Hayes is currently a Southwark Council Cllr in Dulwich who has had over four years of engagement with residents in College Ward, how will you engage with people in SE22 and represent everyone in a seat which covers deprived people in Brixton to the rich and potential Tory voters in Village Ward with residents in ED who are split between Labour and the Lib Dems?
  16. I had Joanna Lumley on the 197.

That > runs like twice an hour! The P13 runs from West Dulwich station and recently received an extra bus per hour operating every 15 mins. Route P4 operates every 12 minutes. Both routes suffer from poor reliability from running along the South Circular.
  18. From Saturday 1st November, Route 185 will operate every 8 mins Mon-Sat daytime (until around 7pm).
  19. Roche's is still vacant across the road.
  20. My mother had a chat with the sub-postmaster at 369 LL that the post office will have to close when the other retail tenants leave in the next few weeks. He is attempting to find another site for the PO nearby, however this is a massive blow for those customers who live at the other end of LL and will only put pressure on the main PO.
  21. I went past just after 3pm. The bus driver looked in shock understandably, the white van came off worse.

The PO is staying in the current premises, while the retail shop is gradually moving across to the shop on the corner of Landells Road, next to Uden's funeral directors. They should be out by the end of the month.

I'm glad Three works for you, as I live very close to you I've been considering moving from Virgin who use the EE network to them. However, I would say since the double glazing was installed 8 years ago, mobile signals in general have been bloody awful on the LLE.
  24. Sugar Mountain in FH is really good. Pauline the Scottish lady who runs the shop is really nice and will happily chat.
  25. Apologies, I got the attendance from the BBC Radio London reporter who was at the match. He also claimed the park next to the ground was Peckham Rye Park!
