Haven't managed to make any of the meet ups...always seem occupied at weekends. I am due number 2 on 15th Jan. Hope to manage to meet up at next one, otherwise I am off on Maternity leave begin of Dec, but freelance so often around midweek if anyone fancies a catch up!

not around next Sat either..weekends proving difficult for me, maybe have more luck when people are on mat leave and can meet in the week!?!

I'm visiting my folks on the 23rd unfortunately so wont be able to make this one either. I'll definitely come to the next one though.


Does anyone know how you find out about tours of the maternity rooms at Kings? Is it through your midwife nearer the due date?

I think there are a few of us that can make it this Saturday (23rd) so let's go ahead with that - 10.30am upstairs at Le Chadelier as I don't think we have any toddlers. I can't make 6th, but a roughly fortnightly meet up sounds like a good way to proceed.

      No sweetheart. It is a fantastic sermon which should be shared. It is a rights-based sermon which received a standing ovation - if you can be bothered to get to the end.

And much as you may hate the present incarnation of so-called Labour, as do I,  I don't think it is true that they have "not done a single positive thing for working class people", is it?       I can’t bear the media “is this racist comment racist” angle taken to reporting it. I feel like she’s a useful out rider for Farage to test how far they can take their rhetoric - it’s not the first time she’s said things that cross over the line. Overt racism is becoming far more commonplace and it’s deeply concerning.

      Dear families,  I am exploring the idea of starting a casual, low cost Mandarin club for children in the area.This would be a fun,play-based introduction to the language and culture for young learners. Before I organize anything,  I wanted to see if there is any interest! If you might be interested, could you please reply to this post or PM with  1. Your child’s age.  2.What kind of format you’d prefer( A. weekly playgroup, B after-school club,  C. weekend session) Even a simple”interested!”  helps. This is just a preliminary survey.  No commitment.
