Party noise Friday night/Sunday morning

I wonder if the people who had the party in the Underhill Road/Belvoir Road area have any idea how miserable it is for neighbours when fireworks start up after 10.30 at night and then music, shouting and singing carry on until the early hours. I think the plug was finally pulled about about 2.20am midway through dancing queen. I love a good party but that has to be taking it too far. I just about managed 3 hours sleep.

that sounds like a wicked party....wish i could have gone!

You crazy guys with all your mental parties - how amazingly cool.


Why should you have the right in a residential area to play music loud enough to disturb people in neighbouring houses (past the time allowed for pubs and public events) even if it is only one night?

have you thought about moving to Switzerland I have a sneaking suspicion that you would fit right in.

      Absolutely, another coalition was nailed on with the bookies, three big factors, Tories playing it very cute with constituents in marginal seats, LDs being punished for tuition fees and not pushing Tories harder, and Milliband's public persona in particular the right wing media.  irrespective of unnecessary austerity the country would have been in a better place if there had been another coalition.

      I have heard a few times that Cameron thought there was going to be another coalition government and he needed some policies that he could easily throw away in bargaining with the Liberal Democrats. So he proposed the referendum planning to bargain it away after the election. Then he won and was stuck with it. Maybe that was stupid 🙂
