Recommendation: Spoiltdog aka Andy

Another recommendation for Andy. I had him mount my 65? TV to the wall just over a week ago. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and made sure everything was done exactly as I wanted it (cables buried inside the wall etc). Couldn?t fault him in the slightest and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Just adding another recommendation for Andy. He has painted my lounge this week and picked up a couple of other jobs that needed doing at the same time, including getting a plumber friend to tighten a nut on a leaking radiator which he didn't even charge for.

Very reasonable rates and the room was left nice and tidy afterwards - no paint on the carpet even though he knew it was being ripped out next week after the moths got it. (and good that the leak was fixed before laying and spoiling the new carpet)

Also a recommendation for Andy. He has done various jobs for us (fitting locks, fixing mirrors to walls) to a good standard. He has been happy to take on small jobs and at short notice. He also went the extra mile to give us detailed advice for a job he could not take on himself. He is friendly and cheerful. We will be using him again. Anna & James, Herne Hill

I have rang this Andy on 4 occasions and each time he has said to ring back

So today I rang and he said again to ring back and when I explained that I already rang four different times with the same outcome he hung up on me

Not very professional and certainly not someone I'd want to employ and consider reliable

Andy (Andyman) has just completed a number of small but very wonderful, life enhancing jobs in our flat this weekend that as a family with 2 small children we never get time to do: putting up shelves, hooks & hanging pictures.

As ever (this is the third time we've used Andy's service) we're delighted with his professionalism, attention to detail and good nature and will use continue to use him again and recommend him to friends and family.

I would like to wholeheartedly recommend Andy Jacob of Andyman Services. He hung some very complex wallpaper for me and did an excellent job. He was bang on time and left the room immaculate. Andy is such a nice guy and he was so helpful. I would use him again in a minute. 07564 194363.

Just wanted to endorse the recommendations above for Andy, who I tried after reading them. He did a very good job for us recently fitting blinds and curtain rails - friendly, very professional, full of good ideas for fixing niggly problems, and very fair prices. We'll definitely be using him again.

Happy to add another recommendation for Andy who came and put two curtain poles and a blind up at our house . He was friendly , polite and easy to communicate with and contact . He did the required jobs to a high standard taking time and trouble to make sure everything was perfect , he was a neat and tidy worker even hoovering up the mess created by drilling into the walls once he'd finished . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family .

I would like to echo all other positive recommendations on here. Andy Jacob 07564 194363 (Andyman) has just finished a job for me. He single handedly put together and installed a 3 meter run of Ikea wardrobes and did a cracking job. He is a down to earth friendly guy, skilled and very professional. He was also the most competitive compared to others I invited to quote from EDF. I have no hesitation recommending him, he will certainly be my go to person in the future.

I just want to shout out to Andy who is great to work with.

He's done multiple jobs - big and small - for me over the years. He's reliable, easy to contact, and gets the job done. He's helped with everything from repairing a ceiling and wall after significant flooding, to changing light fittings, and installing a new kitchen. Hugely trustworthy. Andy 07564194363

I have had Andy hang things in my flat twice now, and I highly recommend him. He came by today to hang a shelf and mirror in my flat, and he did an excellent job. He's punctual, professional, and great to talk to. He did a very thorough job hanging the shelf and mirror, both of which were non-standard sizes and shapes. I will definitely work with him again in the future when I need similar help.

I also recommend Andy. He kindly investigated the jobs for my tenant and then recommended others in the network who could do the jobs. He was super responsive and although it took up time from his busy schedule, he didn't charge. Nice to meet such a stand up tradesman. I will definitely call him again.

I've used Andy many times over the years for decorating and various jobs around the house. Most recently he painted my entire flat for me. His work is of a great standard, he works to the deadlines promised (even if it means working evenings/ weekends) and charges a reasonable rate. He's super friendly as well. Totally recommend.

Are there 2 Andys who are handymen on here? I used Andy who has Andyman Services (surname Jacobs)? I ask because I used him based on glowing recommendations on here and I need someone else to go over his work it was so slap dash. If this is a different Andy I'd like to try him, could someone confirm?

I used Andy Jacob 07564 194363 (Andyman), to replace my toilet seat. I contacted him the day before and he came round prompt the next morning. The seat I purchased was slightly too small, but he made adjustments to make it work. I also asked advice on a broken mechanism for one of my roman blinds. He was kind enough to email me a couple of blind companies which would be able to help. Thanks Andy!

I would second the recommendation for Andy Jacob (07564 194363).

I am about to have some new windows fitted and needed to prepare the surrounding areas before the fitters arrive (taking down blinds, curtain poles and other fixtures and, more significantly, removing a wooden worktop).

Andy arrived on time, was courteous, trustworthy and professional (he would only accept payment once I had seen, and was completely happy with, the job). He was also very neat and tidy.

    • Because the council responsible for it is far-left....   And you haven't answered whether it is worth diverting emergency vehicles because a few cars drive through the LTN and why some lobby groups have been so desperate to close it to emergency vehicles.    Emergency services hate non-permeable junctions as they lengthen response times....f you remember it's why the council had to redesign the DV junction because emergency services kept telling them they needed to be able to drive through it...but the council resisted and resisted until they finally relented because the emergency services said their LTN had increased response times....sorry if the truth gets in the way of a good story but those are facts. The council was putting lives at risk because they refused to open the junction to emergency services. Why? What could have been the motivation for that? So, in fact, it was the emergency services who forced the council (kicking and screaming) to remove the permanent barriers and allow emergency services access. So the council finally opened the junction to emergency services and is now coming back to re-close part of the junction.  Why?  Perhaps you should be asking who is lobbying the council to close the junction or parts of it or why the council is happy to waste so much of our money on it - who are they representing as even their own consultation demonstrated they did not have support from the local community for the measures? The results showed the majority of local residents were against the measure...but they are going ahead with them anyway.   In time, I am sure the truth will come to light and those rewponsbile will be held accountable but you have to admit there is something very unusual going on with that junction - its the very definition of a (very expensive) white elephant.
