My friend was followed by three girls after getting off the 63 the other day. They made it quite clear they were talking about her, and her phone, and followed her at some pace up the road. She only escape by hiding in the grocery shop up there.

Do you reckon these are the three brats harrassing other innocent people?

I use the 63 regularly - not seen any evidence of problems, at 6'5" and large build I tend not to be harassed. However, should anyone need an escort - then the tall, bald & silver bearded chap is me - usually in a suit and grey overcoat. Would be happy to help - and to report or act as witness to such problems.

Sean! I am this girl!

It was about 7pm on a Friday night a few weeks ago. I live on Marmora Road which is not a long walk from the bus stop but it can be a bit dark.

I just hid in the newsagents until my friend came to meet me. I think the fact I had a phone, ipod, massive bag and am small and blonde probably attracted them....

Just make sure you don't wear heels as well! You may have all the trappings of viewable wealth like the ipod, phone, nice bag...but just make sure you can run if you need to.

I see them loitering regularly at the bus stop opposite Co-Op. One of them wears a white puffa jacket thing.

They travel as a three normally, and are quite loud.

My sister was quite shaken up recently as they seemed to wait outside the Co-Op for her and follow her home. Luckily she called me and I met her there.

This def sounds like the trio responsible for quite a few incidents in the ED area. Apparently "a trio" were up in court last week and admittted an attempted robbery. Looking for link now ............Thread started by Clare re her daughter and friend who had been followed off a 176 bus by these girls....

here it is Attempted mugging and assault .Hansler Road. Thursday Jan 10th approx 8.15pm.

Lilolil also reminded me about Worriedmum's daughter that was mugged. It was quite a long thread so easy to miss it so have copied and pasted the post:

Yes. This was my daughter. She was attacked by three girls outside Country Spray florists on Lordship Lane just before this incident on Friday afternoon. The descriptions are: First girl ? dark mixed race/light black skin with dyed curly brownish hair with bobbles at ends with a white head band - about 5?3? tall. She was wearing a white bomber jacket with hood around hair. Second girl ? black skin, black frizzy afro hair all brushed out, very large built girl, about 5?6 ish wearing black jacket with black bottoms. Third girl ? wearing all black. All girls aged around 16.

The girls were friendly initially complimenting her and asking to see her phone. She refused and walked quickly across the road towards the Plough pub to head back home. They followed her, tried to pull out her earrings and then turned nasty on the corner of Plough Lane. The girl in the white bomber jacket tried to drag her down the lane beside the pub pulling her by her arm and her hair. Fortunately a boy of about 15 was passing by and pulled them off of her and told her to run and she ran across the road into Plough DIY. They followed her across and waited outside the kebab shop then walked up towards Dulwich Library. My daughter waited until they had gone and then ran home and we called the police.

If anyone sees them please call 999. Crime Reference No. 3035053/07. Thanks.

Sean - What time of day do they hang around there?

If anyone sees these spineless little b*tches again, call the police will you. Get them picked up and taken away. They may be young but they aren't untouchable. I'm always coming home at that time, and MR MW74 always meets me and walks me home. I shall keep more of a look out in future. Even if they don't seem to be 'up to' anything if I see them, I'm calling the rozzers.

    • Exactly what I said, that Corbyn's group of univeristy politics far-left back benchers would have been a disaster during Covid if they had won the election. Here you go:  BBC News - Ex-union boss McCluskey took private jet flights arranged by building firm, report finds https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp3kgg55410o The 2019 result was considered one of the worst in living memory for Labour, not only for big swing of seats away from them but because they lost a large number of the Red-wall seats- generational Labour seats. Why? Because as Alan Johnson put it so succinctly: "Corbyn couldn't lead the working class out of a paper bag"! https://youtu.be/JikhuJjM1VM?si=oHhP6rTq4hqvYyBC
    • Agreed and in the meantime its "joe public" who has to pay through higher prices. We're talking all over the shop from food to insurance and everything in between.  And to add insult to injury they "hurt " their own voters/supporters through the actions they have taken. Sadly it gets to a stage where you start thinking about leaving London and even exiting the UK for good, but where to go????? Sad times now and ahead for at least the next 4yrs, hence why Govt and Local Authorities need to cut spending on all but essential services.  An immediate saving, all managerial and executive salaries cannot exceed and frozen at £50K Do away with the Mayor of London, the GLA and all the hanging on organisations, plus do away with borough mayors and the teams that serve them. All added beauracracy that can be dispensed with and will save £££££'s
